From what I've gathered so far:
  • Fog effects at first Drac, heat blast is higher.

  • Wolfman now drools before spitting blood on you(?), also made more clear he's chewing on corpse.

  • A lot more haptic feedback in seats.

  • Much louder now.

  • Breathing effects now on(?)

  • Ride movement is faster and MUCH more aggressive at certain moments.

  • You now get closer to the animatronics!!!

Honestly if they just fill the area where you face the curtain after Drac escapes with fog that could be enough to “fix” the issue until they have a real solution.

I'm going back this monday... I can't wait. I might try and beat my record from last week and ride it more than 28 times. Let's go for 40!

I believe I did 100 rides on Transformers before it officially opened, but I'd need to check when I hit that ride count.

If you're needing a goal lol

The BlogMickey article also mentioned the "Photoshop murals" (one on a ceiling, the other in the staircase) in the queue not looking great. In the photos, the ceiling mural looks like it has a sheen and the perimeter lighting looks to be causing a bright glare.

Seems like a coat of matte sealer could help knock down the glare, plus turning down the light level (and a warmer color temperature), could improve the look. BlogMickey also mentioned the mural just looked flat...maybe a crackle medium to create a fine surface crackle, and a dark glaze (to get caught in the cracks), then the matte sealer could give it a more believable antiquated look.

The rest of the queue looks fantastic to me.

The photo is definitely a bit overexposed and brighter than what the room is actually lit like.

But wouldn't there be a sheen, as most paints during this period would be oil-based?

I assume it's trying to represent a fresco (like the Sistine Chapel) which is pigment in lime plaster and has a matte finish. I assume that because the art goes down along the coved ceiling (curved transition form horizontal to vertical). If it was trying to represent oil on a large canvas, that art-on-cove wouldn't really make sense. But...if they did want it to look like oil, they should brush on a thick coat of clear medium to replicate the brush stroke textures to catch the light. It shouldn't be flat.

But given that what it really is, almost certainly, is a digital print as one would see in a Starbucks or Jamba Juice smoothie place -- or everywhere in a shopping mall where you see such a photographic or graphic print on a wall, we likely, naturally interpret it as exactly that: a modern digital print (which typically has a satin to luster sheen). So pushing it one way or the other intentionally, whether matte (fresco) or shiny and textured (oil) would help it look less modern and more antiquated.

The additional enhancements since two weeks ago already have me thinking of a quick weekend trip sooner than expected :dizzy:
