Script Process for HHN

I was just wondering, What goes on in the process of writing a script for an hhn haunted house?

For example, what does the original script/story of a house look like? Is it simply text describing the scenes or is it like a movie or play script with specific breakdown of certain elements?

It's generally a pretty detailed breakdown of the house scene by scene, usually with technical information, a narrative summary from the guests pov later on, and reference images. HHN treatments aren't publicly available so the only glimpse you can really get of what it generally looks like is individual pages Murdy has shown off during panels or on twitter.

Murdy showed a screenshot of one of his scripts at Midsummer recently. Someone should snag a screenshot from one of the livestreams!

To be specific, it looked like one page that was a first person account of what was happening to them in the maze and what they saw. Then, there was an additional companion page that then broke down that page into all the elements (set, sound, lighting, props, scareactors, etc) and said specficially (jn a non POV matter) of how to pull off that scene. I think that's actually a very interesting way to tackle it.

Orlando had a completely way to do it, with a little map of the room and such on the side.
