Quick question. If I have already purchased a FFP, can I upgrade it to the FFP+? Only for the regular tickets and I know the express add ons for both have been sold out. My memory on the upgrading is fuzzy considering I can’t remember if they allowed this last year or not.

I just checked and looks like FFP+ is still widely open I haven't done the upgrade in years but when I did it before I had to call and just pay the difference.

I've always been curious if they'll allow you to upgrade from 2 regular tickets to an ROF.

Also pulled the trigger on Premium Scream, excited about it and think it will be an amazing time even if not as slow as shown last year still should be better than virtually any other night at HHN. But with the high price tag I am feeling anxious about all the stars aligning for a perfect evening haha is anyone else going to it having similar feelings? I know that is true for any park day it is a gamble but just the price for me is a lot for one singular night vs the frequent fear which I feel if one night is mid/low it is ok I can make up for it another night on my trip. Just stressing about "making the most" between food offerings and the advertised staggered house lines. Def will be an open to close sort of situation and hopeful for good weather.

Yeah - sorry. Meant to clarify that "Express" is sold out.

I think you can also do it day-by-day (also based on availability) if not available for the entire pass.

Now that the houses are listed in the tours, I sprang for the 6 house tour on September 19th (8:45). I had to make a choice of one or the other, and considering the 6 house tour is way more stacked for me, and the cheaper day went down to one time slot available, that was an easy now or never kind of choice.

I used to love to watch Thrill Data and see how tickets were selling, I might be alone on this but find that sorta stuff interesting. With Thrill Data unable to fetch the info anymore is there another site or source that has cracked the code or is that now a lost hobby? Lol.

Interesting twist to Hell Week this year -- the big local school districts all have the same in-service day ... and it's October 13, Columbus Day. For the first time in forever, the northeast feeder market and Florida will all be out of school on the same day.

Might make the Thursday before a bit more tolerable with local kids in school the next day, but October 12 is going to be a nightmare.

ice queen of my heart GIF

I'm doing Epcot and Animal Kingdom on those two days and that actually makes me ecstatic that those might be my worst days, because 1. no one should be flooding AK in its current state and 2. I have multiple days at Epcot for Food and Wine, so I don't care if it's busy.

Thanks for the update, 71!

Slacked on nabbing my FFP+ this year and it looks like all of August is blocked off. :skull:

What do yall think are the chances for an in-person upgrade for a single night ticket into a FFP+ that first weekend?

My friends initially purchased RoF before deciding to upgrade to UFF. They had their reservation date for RoF on opening day, but because they upgraded they lost it and can't visit until next week.

Technically, they should be able to just regain back their opening date reservation since it's a 1:1 replacement... but UOR's system/policy doesn't allow them to.

Your situation is interesting since (I believe) you are able to "check-in" for that single night ticket and then upgrade on that same night. As in, physically enter the event with the single night ticket and then upgrade during the event?

Long lines for everything except the rides with locals and annual visitors visiting.

While I never eat at any of the quick service locations during HHN, we tend to end up eating somewhere like Leaky/Mel's during opening weekend since all the food stands are backed up. After the first weekend they improve vastly.

It will be very busy but it's manageable. I've attended opening weekend for the past few years. Opening night epically as it is media night. Which nights are you going? The whole weekend?

You should have plenty of time to enjoy everything then! I've done opening weekend Saturday & Sunday the past three years with no express and have usually made it through every house at least twice, with plenty of time to enjoy the zones. Stay & Scream + stay late is very powerful even on opening weekend. The only thing I save for later in the season is Nightmare Fuel.

Thanks I appreciate it!!!! All the hype the event is getting and from such large fanbases too had me worried. Like uh-oh this could be crazy. Was just a splurge weekend we usually just go end of October but with Labor Day helping time off couldn’t say no. Yes will utilize S&S and thankfully we have Express but have been at nights before when crowds were so high it was just uncomfortable walking the park.

You will be fine since you going the whole weekend. Epically with S&S and express. The only thing I say is a must opening night is Teriffer on the wet path. As I can see them dialing that down (if they haven’t already due to the issue at TMP)

In my experience it depends entirely on how lucky you get with the person helping you.

I've had to contact guest services 4 or 5 times over the last several years for legitimate reasons related to ticketing

The first time was incredible. The second time was so bad I thought it was a fluke, called back later for the same issue and got the kindest most helpful person ever.

Last year an incident caused by Universal caused us a massive delay in entrance to the event. I asked if we could get a refund or upgrade on a single day ticket for a friend that was attending just that night and they told us to kick rocks. I personally wouldn't risk it now.
