is this normal for UO to wait this long to release multi park tickets for next year or is it because of Epic and wanting to sell hotel packages?

Has anyone changed the date of their single day Epic ticket? It seems to be fairly simple on the app - is there a catch? There will be no price difference if I do so.

I've been hearing here and there that Sunday seems to be the quietest day, so was thinking of changing one of my tickets to that day, anyone heard or experienced this?

Haven't experienced it but I do follow the Touring Plan app that post s the line times. The 'last three Sundays' have been decent. The Sunday evenings have been especially good. Possible because its a heavy vacation arrival day and people can't get a full day in the parks. Conversely Monday seems to be almost always long lines.

Weekends have been ok crowd-wise at the parks. The other two UOR parks get a boost from APs, but Epic doesn't get that over the weekend.

I think people are "outsmarting" other people by avoiding the weekends since it's historically busier, but lately they've been pleasant.

Was it and AP ticket or general?

Damn, guess I will have to call to change an AP ticket. I hate that it's just linked to your pass, didn't work at previews and they had to type in the number. First in line at EPA and took 5 minutes to get in.

How have single day AP tickets been selling?

We plan on visiting in late October, getting APs, and then would probably have to buy some single day tickets a few days after our AP purchase.

Have single day tickets been selling out?

Is it still looking likely the Epic AP add on won’t be coming until next year?

We're now officially in the final quarter of the year, and Universal's ticket portal still will not offer tickets (to non-resort guests, anyway) beyond December.

This may have been one of the most unfriendly guest ticket policies ever. But they'll give free tickets to TM's, but not tickets to hotel employees,
even though that translates into longer than the long lines. I can see giving comps to employees if Epic was running smoothly with reasonable
wait lines. But it isn't, not even close.

Hey Belloq, i did post this elsewhere - just trying to help offer any possible hoop for you to jump through:

Thoughts from a TA about how to get around this:

Put a deposit down on a hotel package that includes tickets. Shouldn't cost you more than $200(maybe even less) if you pick a low category room at a low category resort. This will get you and anyone traveling with you tickets ''guaranteed'' for the dates you're trying to go in 2026.

Depending on when you're going, payment due in full is not until 45-60 days in advance. This will give you time to sit and wait for tickets to get released outside of packages. When they DO get released, you can call Universal to CANCEL the HOTEL PORTION of the package and pay off the rest of your ticket order.

I've done this before and it works.
This should save you peace of mind of knowing your tickets are more or less 'reserved' and locked in for the dates you're trying to go without you having to pay in full until later.

Feel free to message me if you have any questions.

I appreciate that!

We'll see what the rest of my group want to do; they're leaning towards wanting to push back all the way to next November at this point. Which is, to me... not ideal!
