Barring some sort of major unanticipated complication (which could happen with an installation this complex), that feels very likely. It's certainly their expectation/target.

I just hope they have it open by Fan Fest Nights at the very least. Going on there with not as much pressure compared to usual day ops sounds enticing.

They also have a story capturing the vehicle stalling on the dive loop

Extremely unlikely, but how crazy would it be if that section turned out to be a swing launch??

A night ride on the hillside is gonna be sooooo good. I'm waiting to see how the testing schedule shakes out to determine if I'm heading out west in the spring for FFN or fall for HHN.

I wonder if FFN sees an attendance jump compared to last year if there's a brand new coaster ready to ride. As much as I loved the short lines this year, I can make that sacrifice if it means this ride's ready.

I think the lines for FFN will still be relatively short once this thing is likely ready. I'm sure a good majority of people will be going to ride this at night.

When you put it that way, it could definitely benefit FFN if they're able to open the ride before then. Hoping they're also taking that into account.

Since we are talking crowds, I'm still on the side that things it will do well but the park attendance wont change much from it, would love to be wrong but factors outside of USH control make me think for the most part the park will do the same mostly.

The events however is where USH can clearway fight back HHN to me shows the power of IPs when fans are listened to, so hoping they are taking notes on that but while we are 4-5 months from the coaster still putting my bet on it getting mostly great reviews but the park wont see a huge jump in people or money in park being spent, thats just my guess.

I doubt the bump will be Potter-level, but Universal's clearly very bullish on their ROI with these big coasters they keep building. If park attendance stays flat next year, I'd assume it would have been down without the addition.

The IP might not excite people on its own, but seeing those cars drift around the hillside is going to be electric. People will be hyped to ride this, and I'm hopeful the experience will deliver something thrilling, unique, nd re-rideable like few other things are at USH) . Barring some HRRR-esque design/manufacturing errors, I think it's going to be an anchor attraction for years to come.

I think it will serve those who want it and no doubt the kinetic energy will be a win for the park

But I dont know if people here are not keeping up with the News outside theme parks but we have some HUGE things coming up that will make it harder for parks to grow much without showstopping IPs.

HHN to me proves with the right IPs you can make tons of money and no doubt this series has fans but its no where near its peak and this is a BIG Thrill ride. I think many are forgetting many people wont be able to go on this, its more thrilling then stardust racers and I just want people to keep that in mind this coaster is ment for a very small demo compared to say a dark ride, most people post 60 years old wont be riding this

Mainly my thoughts are
1) The Economy is not improving and inflation is just getting worst every month
2) Tourist outside the US are slowing down and no signs of that changing anytime soon
3) F&F is not at the peak of its Fandom
4) The Coaster is super thrilling and not for everyone
5) We lost two attractions for this so confused on how the park is more of a full day park yet, to my count the park still only has 12 rides, Water World and Panda. I would not call DCA a full day park unless a event is happening and same with USH, its an amazing park with events going but when its the off season after this ride will the park close later then 6 PM?

I think the coaster will do well enough but just think the hype behind what effects the ride will have on the park is just alot...SNW did very well and even then because of how small it was I think its hype died before it should have

I'm just saying if I made a bet the park will get some more visitors but the bump wont be huge more of a draw another event times like HHN, Fan Fest/srping break, Summer and Grinchmas. Also from the start I've said I hope I'm wrong if this ride somehow brings in more guests then SNW with this Economy then bravo thats a huge feat.

I’m willing to go as far as to say that I firmly believe this will be the most successful standalone ride Universal has built. This thing is getting a lot of buzz.

More successful than Potter and Nintendo? Doubtful. Maybe Potter since it got screwed over by the pass holder restructuring back then. As a standalone ride I think this will do the park gangbusters. Do you realize how long people have wanted a big thrill coaster at USH, especially along the hillside? Not to mention I have friends that find the park boring and are excited the park is getting a “real” ride.

I don’t think this will move the needle at all as far as general attendance, however, I do believe USH will see a substantial increase in AP purchases because of it.

I can for sure see this, I think as money gets tighter USH, Knotts, Six Flags should benefit from having such lower priced APs

Also USH Gold pass is like a steal for 300 bucks with parking

USH was also pushing HHN Fear Passes since night one, so they for sure see the value of people not coming one day but a few days a year

I think USH will at least see a bump from the GP to check it out. I can absolutely see people coming in from NorCal, Arizona, and Vegas to check it out.

As far as an increase in APs go, yeah this will absolutely bump up AP sales. I know of a couple of friends who didn’t care about the park much said they will buy an AP just for this coaster. It will be popular.
