I'm not sure I know what you mean. Midsummer Scream hasn't happened this year.

I'm not definitively saying Hollywood Harry vs Jack isn't happening. I'm pointing out that it's a rumor that gained steam because some folks expected joint coast announcements, and for Hollywood to focus on its own sorta-kinda-technical anniversary this year. The latter two things didn't happen, which makes me think it's noise -- on top of the reality that Hollywood-only fans don't generally know who Jack even is.

Last year, at the HHN panel at MSS with Murdy and Aiello, they answered questions about how Hollywood used Orlando Icons early on and later on created Hollywood Harry as sort of our "Icon".. Murdy then answered a question about Jack meeting Hollywood Harry and asking.. "Should they come back to HHN Hollywood?" and when the crowds cheered for the idea, he merely stated "I'll file that away.."

Okay, so this was a panel last year. They wanted to talk about the Orlando icons while Murdy was present, so inevitably their (mostly) lack of track record in that area came up.

Again, I'm not saying that a Jack vs Hollywood Harry thing isn't happening. I'm saying that some of the "evidence" that suggests it could be has not actually panned out (yet, at least).

I have been to the event every year that Hollywood Harry has been featured, and I only really remember the Terror Tram in 2022. I guess that might say more about my memory, though.

I don't really care much for icons, but FWIW I think he's a cool concept for a character.
