It’s fine where it is, hidden from the tourists in a dinky strip mall It’s gotten relatively expensive since Covid unfortunately when it used to be a cheap dive bar.

Probably the most boring yet most sensible option to replace BK. If they do an AP discount like Panda, will be the cheapest 5 Guys in the city.

Double good news...........Loved the Legacy store. Best store, besides the AP discount store, on property.

Honestly, not a fan of 5 Guys. Terrible chain. Bet it does worse business than the Whopper Bar.

Don't count on it, it's likely a $2-3 markup versus the local ones, so you're AP discount is likely to bring back pricing to the local average lol

Imagine they put peanut barrels in there…I’d make that a meal on the way in and out of the parks lol.

But yeah I imagine this is gonna get marked up like crazy.

Please, for the love of all that is good, stay open late enough that I can get cajun fries and a massive sprite on my way out of Horror Nights.

Slightly disappointed that you're not using a Freestyle cup to get your massive Sprite

I am on record: I absolutely hate carrying those things around :lmao:

Besides, there's beer and water to drink in the theme park! By the time I get to CityWalk, it's time to change things up.

FWIW when Cane’s opened at CityWalk Hollywood (Which y’all need for your CityWalk), price was only marked up $1 more than the normal locations. I imagine (Hope) it will be the same here. Otherwise, y’all are gonna have to take out a loan for a burger.

Again, Moes, Panda Express, Cold Stone and Starbucks are all right in line with the rest of Orlando. Maybe more than suburban Des Moines or Albuquerque, but it strongly implies there's some sort of limiting clause in the contract Universal signs. 5 Guys is inherently more spendy but I fully expect comparable prices to Turkey Lake.

Also, those are all owned by Universal, whereas Raising Cane’s in Hollywood isn’t.

I’d have to assume this Five Guys was also brought in under some kind of franchise or arrangement that lets Universal keep pricing closer to normal, without needing to mark things up the way an independent operator probably would if they weren’t backed by Comcast-level money. Would be stunned if this was Five Guys paying Universal rent to be there

*Edit: appears BK Whopper Bar was owned and operated by a company called Consolidated Burger Holdings, and not Universal. Moes, on the other hand, is a franchise purchased by “Universal City Development Partners, Ltd”

I do not think Five Guys is a particularly good value for the money even outside of a theme park/resort setting, so I can't imagine I'll ever go up there.

Very pleased to see the return of the Legacy Store confirmed.

Used to be, when they overloaded the fries. Since COVID, not so much.

Personally, I don't even hit up Five Guys outside of the parks, so this announcement doesn't excite me. Happy to see the Legacy Store is returning, though!
