Frankenstein [Feature Film]

Many of the exteriors of the village were shot on the Little Europe sets at Universal, including the Court of Miracles {The townspeople of Goldstadt celebrated the wedding of Henry Frankenstein to Elizabeth in this square. ). However, they're not the same sets that can be seen today - all of todays Little Europe was built in 1967 after a huge fire destroyed the vintage sets.

FWIW, I don't think Frankenstein's Henry & Elizabeth wedding celebration was filmed in the Court of Miracles. It looks a lot more like that larger village set behind it. Dracula has very few exterior shots and I think maybe when he is walking to the theater in London he might be back there somewhere but it's too difficult to tell exactly where.

Not my website. Its just the only thing I could find

Side Note....Why the Frick aren't the classic Monster films on Peacock...it's like Star Wars not being on Disney+. So strange to me to make a service to host all your content and not have the classic monster films on it

Last year's food slate was too much focus on being Instagram-able and not enough on being good or edible.

THIS does not inspire confidence that 2026 will be any better on that front.

that’s the entire goal of all of these specialty food items at theme parks. to be clear, this is lame, but it’s certainly not unique to this event.

How am I even gonna take a bite of that tall sandwich? Legitimate question here

I’m disappointed that there seems to be virtually no plant-based or vegetarian friendly options as far as the specialty food offerings go. I’m not asking for 1:1 veggie options but seeing Welsh rarebit and Watermelon Salad as the only specialty options without meat is a bummer.

I heard from FiveFires (creator who got invited to the media event) that some if not most of the UPPER LOT food will be available during the day as well. Lower lot is event only.

Interesting if true. The SNW items were available during the day last year.

The press release did mention this was meant to be sharable, but I'm sure customers will just want that pic of trying to eat it like Shaggy. Plus, separating the layers into multiple sandwiches would leave some without a top layer of bread, so even more reason for the average guest to just not do it.

Even if they seemingly can’t advertise it, merchandise for FFN including Jurassic has now appeared.

My partner is vegetarian, and that seems to be a consistent theme across events like this. Also not asking for 1:1, but offering nothing is always frustrating.

This is why I was pushing for the Nintendo Cafe to become an Anime Cafe.....every 3-6 months you change the anime and bam...unlimited money.

But I'm hoping that after this event if his merch keeps slying off the selves they might find someway to get Anime into the park more...even if its just meet and greets and food/merch

I might have to consider buying a One Piece shirt....I doubt they will last long enough to go on sale at the end of the event

Edit: I'm hearing a bunch of the One Piece Merch has sold out like the some hats and Zoro beanie

So It Begins Lord Of The Rings GIF

Kinda surprising to hear this be the case only a week away from the event. I'll definitely have to consider which anime goods to bring home when I go on opening night, cause I remember there being no One Piece and barely any JJK merch left by the time I went a second time in the middle of the event's run last year. Seems like anything anime is a guaranteed "If you build it they will come".

Provided a majority of people eating these up aren't scalpers, I'm hoping this is reflective of some hype from at least the anime crowd, which seems to ease concerns of 2026 bombing. I know the other avenues of the event need to do well, but it'd at least be a good start for the event to rake in money it'll need for next year.
