Say what you will, this should be a MAJOR plus to the guest experience, this plus the hub addition by MIB really do show that Universal is making a genuine effort to improve things, and not just milk the event dry. I’m very curious of what the 2pm wait times will look like.

The hub with the new tents behind Men in Black. You no longer have to walk through a line all the way from the park to the house and back to go through a house multiple times.

This structure is easily one of the best changes they've made to the event.

Nothing drove me crazier was coming out of the exit and trying to figure out where I had to go for the next house to take advantage of the low wait times that might have been happening over there.

Ironically skipping that walk used to be a major perk of RIP tours, but now the Hubs it’s not as much.

What is the guess of Express being open at 2? I would NOT use mine. I'm just curious if they don't want ANY express bogging down the 2 to 4:30 lines, OR, they WANT people using up express early before the regular crowd shuffles in.

I think Universal wants people to use express during these hours, anything to help improve the express to standby ratios later on in the evening.

Starting at 2 will likely cause guests to leave earlier in the evening as they likely had more time to enjoy the event (and feel satisfied that they did enough) while leaving “room” for those that arrived later in the evening.

3 additional hours of operations for 3 houses is a good amount of park capacity.

Sadly, I’m not sure how that would work logistically. Maybe would require a return to an entrance to Sprung 1 back over by the former Kidzone (similar to La Llarona at 23).

Pathway is unfortunately too small for round trip travel unless they expanded the access path, which I hope they do one day. That would open up using the MIB extended queue for Nightmare Fuel as that now has a queue.

Yeah this is huge for HHN capacity. 3 hours per night is essentially 15 nights worth of extra HHN over the season. That plus the extra night (49 nights compared to 48), this is by far the 'most HHN' we've ever gotten. Very exciting year.

The hub with the new tents behind Men in Black. You no longer have to walk through a line all the way from the park to the house and back to go through a house multiple times.

This structure is easily one of the best changes they've made to the event.

While it's still the longest walk in the park, I will happily take that over the hikes we had to and from the parade buildings. Being able to hit up both houses without having to renter the park is huge.

The same can be said for the hub setup for the soundstages, it sure helped my marathon of Wyatt Sicks all the easier.

You and me both, Brian! If I get an Unlimited Express one night, I see myself just staying there for a bit before going back into the park.

Though I'm also reminded I probably hiked to Everest and back in 2019 because my Top 2 houses were Graveyard Games and Universal Monsters. I don't know how I survived that year!

I hope not. I’m already worried the waits for these houses will be 2-3 hours and we’ll only get to do 1, maybe 2 of these houses before the event starts. If they do standby only, it helps the line to go faster.

While I am glad they are letting passholders utilize this, that means more people will be utilizing it. So that already means the lines will be longer. Adding express will also just make them that much longer.

I'll be in the park in the afternoon until 4pm and I'll definitely be saving my express for the evening. I won't be looking at anything HHN related until I return to the park after 7pm. Doing the houses in the afternoon doesn't really appeal to me.

Makes sense. Even the first couple done at 5/6pm don’t seem as appealing until after dark. You find a short line though and the temptation is there. I wonder how this will affect the scare actors/acting.
