Large carnivore experience required, cheetah experience preferred.

That concept art looks like about a 5 car train.

Both of those are pretty "meh" in my books. Was I completely blown away after I rode it? Yes. But was a 15 second ride worth an hour wait? No.

The concept art show a smaller train.

Most likely 3 cars.

I believe it was posted here or on another website that it would have a 4 car train and a dual loading station like Sheikra.

I just noticed that the title of this thread was changed, which seems to reflect that this coaster and its name have achieved "confirmed" status. I searched the last few pages of the thread and didn't see anything saying that the ride and name are confirmed. Did I miss something?

Concept Art was released that showed off the attraction's sign with it being called "Cheetaka". That can change however. When it does, so does the thread title.

Was this art "released" or "leaked"? I only ask because if BG officially released it, then I would love to see it. Otherwise I'll happily wait until they do.

It was "leaked", sorta. The construction company apparently didn't do a great job keeping it protected on their site. They have been removed from our site, however.

Oh, this looks so promising! The art really feels like an open and more pumping version of Manta's. I hope there's a signature element in this ride, too. I can't wait to see more from BGT. :D

Should clear up any questions about the trains. 4 cars, 2 rows per car, total of 8 rows, 2 across, 16 people per train. Obviously the station will have dual load/unload platform. Then it looks like both cars move up, one goes right away to the first launch while the other waits in holding.

It looks like this thing could be pretty high capacity. I am not really familiar with other coasters like this, seems like it is possible for 3 trains to be in the station at one time, with the forth launching.

Am I the only one not all that impressed? It could be a fun coaster but....the queue and entrance shots...meh. I have not seen anything neet exhibit wise out of it yet and the entrance and queue is not so much a facade as just the current skyride/old monorail station with tribal twig groupings all over.

The train certainly resembles Maverick's, I would definitely welcome a Blitzcoaster to BGT. I'll admit that I was hoping for a queue more like Manta's, but it's still possible from what we've seen. I have no doubt that this will be BGT's Manta.

I would say we have only seen a fraction of what is going to become a very nice addition to the park. For Manta we also saw just a couple of impressions at first. Many more appeared later on. Look how Manta has changed the parks appearance. They really owe it to the public to deliver a dramatic ride and ditto theming after all the teasing so far. I am confident it will be great.

If rumors hold true, it would be interesting to see how guests interact with the wildlife during the ride instead of before like Manta. I really, really love the direction that the Buschstone parks are taking, where we almost take on the embodiment of animals. We saw the glimpse of it with SheiKra, which is based on the Shikra bird, which dives for its prey, hence the dive coaster. Then Manta came along and gave guests the ability to glide like a ray. Now Cheetaka lets us prowl like a cheetah. It's going to be awesome. And need I mention, Florida FINALLY gets an Intamin!

Oh, and just in case you haven't been keeping track:
2009 - Sea World opens Manta, Universal opens Rockit
2010 - Universal opens Wizarding World of Harry Potter
2011 - Busch Gardens opens Cheetaka, Legoland Florida opens
2012 - Disney opens Fantasyland Expansion

It's a good time to be a theme park nerd.
