When I'm walking through the front I look for the photographer with the most energy. That's who I get to take my picture. It doesnt cost you a thing and it helps them with their shot count. And while you do have to hold on to the ticket they do have a photo pass that is really cool. I have the details posted on another thread called Universal's Photo Connect.

Orlando Theme Park News' latest update includes a great look at random things happening all over Uni.

This BMG sign is behind work fencing.

The side of the Shrek soundstage is getting some attention.

The temporary midway games that were by FFL are now, for some reason, flanking the street in Production Central in front of the Hollywood Bowl area.

Some work is being done on this planter by Mel's.

Simpsons midway games look almost ready to open. The facades are painted, lights are going up, and the games are installed and under tarps.

They're for HHN. They always have some midways games set up in that area for the event. :thumbs:

Yeah, seems that deal faded as I expected it would. Sharp could not continue it's aquos product line forever. All mention is gone from the website and seating pdf downloads make no mention of Sharp.

The displaced henna tattoos and psychic readings from the tent have relocated to this section of previous midway games. (Which explains those work walls)

This sign is now where the old Pearl Factory sign was.

Portofino Bay is still in the midst of a massive refurb for the exteriors.

Yeah I noticed that when I was there in August. I really dislike that sign and the painting on the theater, I hope they remove it. :fist:

OrlandoRocks posted this look at the new midway games at Simpsons. This confirms that at least some (if not all) are in some way themed to the brand.

Yes :thumbs: you are correct. I was there last Thursday and I even saw a fuzzy guy peeking out from behind one of the tarps. I'm not a fan of carnival games in the least but at least in front of that ride they make sense. I'm happy that Universal is themeing the whole area around what will soon be the former IFFF into the Simpsons. I think it's safe to say that without the BTTF ride the whole "World Expo" theme kinda didn't make sense any longer. :shrug: Now if only Universal will paint some fake trees on the back of the FJ ride building so that it blends in better with JP and WWoHP.....
