^ I am not going to test the diagon thread again until someone tells me that it is on a new page without the silly hi-res images. Do not worry frenzy... what is posted is only mildly more detailed than the water authority drawings. Basically, everything in the docs has been posted before. It will not ruin anything for you I promise.

Addendum: So, it appears that we really weren't deceived by the water plans... Wyndham was in the plan right along, but it did not require a complete foundation. Bob and other construction types here, does this mean that most of Wyndham is a steel set in concrete sonotube and therefore does not require reporting on such a water doc? I would have thought roof runoff would matter but it appears "no pad, no big deal".

The images were removed (at least in my post)

And there is something quite new regarding Knockturn.

I look forward to the day that every new ride takes a page out of Antarctica's book and allows the riders to choose mild or wild experiences. Then we can knock it off with slowly making FJ less awesome.

FJ is a continuously moving ride and that isn't, that's why it can't be done for FJ.

I am not sure what you mean. We have known recently that it was going inside that building, this only shows the basic outlines of the faux exterior buildings/streets, and where they are located in the building. I mentioned the vague staircases... but other than that, am I missing something?

^^ It is also 2 separate rides, not a single ride where you pick the intensity.

Touche. I consider M:S to be two rides, though. It's different when it's one ride on one track.

That sounds nice. Fans/wind always helps me with motion sickness.

I wish they'd install something like this on the Simpsons RV's.....

The Simpsons is like pure torture to me. I've found that having a couple of beers helps me with my motion sickness a bit (from praying the ride is almost over to tolerable). I still generally just walk around while the rest of my group go on it.

Forgive my ignorance, I thought those only worked if you get sea sick. I may have to give it a shot that would be pretty awesome.

Dramamine worked pretty well for my friend who would get really motion sick. You can give that a try

I use Dramamine and those wrist bands with the ball that goes against your wrist. Both work pretty well for me.

Does anyone know what day we can expect the new, calmer ride profile on FJ?

It's on indefinite hold right now due to a major complication. Sorry can't elaborate but I'll let everyone when something happens.

Just joined to say that I have read this entire thread (from part 1 page 1) and it's "sequel" over on the Studio's side. This is one of the most epic things on the internet, and it's an amazing way to go back in time and "re-live" a prolonged moment of anticipation and excitement (that I wasn't even around for).

My one and only visit to Islands of Adventure (which happened only because of "Harry Potter World") is the best time I have ever had in any theme park. I get what Disney was trying to do with the idea of a "storytelling park" now. Fortunately for Universal (despite budget cuts to the whomping willow and blurry screens) Harry Potter is perhaps the most important story to tell for a modern generation, so their storytelling park worked for me like no other ever has.

Although, after reading this thread, it turns out there's a whole bunch of things I missed at WWoHP... (even though the Powerade Bottles were thrown out) like where the eff is the snitch? Howler? I didn't see the magic dishes window either. One of these years I'll have to go back.

Oh, and the floating magic wand in Ollivander's window? There are NO strings.

The simpsons makes me dizzy, its not my favorite. FJ never gives me any problems. Air Bladder is a silly term, I agree, but sounds like a good idea if it really works? I'm more excited about the updated screens. It hurts my eyes sometimes.

And NOOO! there are almost NOOO features on Antarctica that I want any other company to use. And Mission Space has a 'mild and wild' because a few people died from riding it!!
When I was waiting (an eternity) for Anarctica, I finally get to the point to choose... the line for Wild was more than twice as long for mild. So I just did Mild to hurry it up. The same thing would happen, its like the line for the front row of rollercoasters... the entrance says '1 hour' but you end up waiting '1.5 hours' for the exact experience you want. Never an even split.

I don't get motion sick. You know you have a theme park problem when you LIKE the "bed spins"!

:welcome: aboard! And that's quite an epic feat in reading all those threads :hail: Wow!

BTW, what better time to come back to UOR than this year to visit Diagon Alley and go back over Hogsmeade to catch all those cool little details you missed on your first visit!

Great to meet you and hope you stick around!
