Dollywood is a lovely park. I haven't been there since 2008 (Mystery Mine was the biggest draw at the time), but I've heard nothing but great things about Wild Eagle and FireChaser Express. It's just got that wonderful atmosphere of going back in time, with incredibly polite/friendly staff and some of the best food you'll ever eat at a theme park. The above comment about Carowinds being very "vanilla" is something I thought during my first visit back in 2008. However, adding in Intimidator and this GORGEOUS giga, plus other improvements made to the park really helped me to change my mind. I look forward to riding this beast next summer and predict it will do amazing things for the park's skyline, overall image, and profit margins!
And for the comment about BGT building a 350' version of this, I agree, but I'd love to see them REALLY go crazy...and build the world's first 500' coaster (it would be an Intamin creation, most likely). Imagine a 500' Millennium Force or Intimidator 305 that ran you along a high-speed course throughout the park with amazing airtime hills thrown in for max effect. At that height, it would take the record for world's tallest coaster, and might even take the record for the fastest coaster on earth too (it'd be close with Formula Rossa at Ferrari World). This coaster would be far too expensive for the Busch team to ever even consider ($60 million+, I'm sure), but if there's any way to bring droves of people through BGT's gates, this would be it. Market the heck out of it in Orlando and around Tampa and watch the $$$ pour in.
Time to wake up from my daydream!
