Did the control room tour last week and I asked if they had any news of closing and the TM said blankly, "Universal's said nothing official to us lately."

So either he has a great poker face, or Uni is going to lay a smackdown closing notice with little advanced notice.

Literally walk up to the greeter and ask to do the control room tour. A couple joined me and two others got in line thinking it was the attraction itself because it currently had a bigger line.

I would think there would be some sort of promotion from Universal about it. Even something simple like "Be sure to watch the Tonight Show tonight for a very special announcement!"
