That may not be the best idea. I do think however, that there will be a memorial of some sort in the HPExpo this month showing Alan Rickman, and his way of shaping the character of Snape.

I would just think a candle lit or something with his name on it will be respectful. After all, he was one of the most important characters in the series.

Guests have been leaving small memorials (roses, framed pictures) throughout the Forbidden Journey queue. Unfortunately, they've been removed.

I understand the removal but they could've placed a fake candle in the book store facing London with a rose. Something that simple would go a long way. But universal can't come up with anything quick.

I'll state this,

I expect something to be said about Alan at HPC that pays homage to him playing Snape, and his film career as a whole. I also think that he'll have to be mentioned for when Oscars has its In Memoriam sequence. But besides that; we won't get a big deal as much as Robin Williams did.

I understand the removal but they could've placed a fake candle in the book store facing London with a rose. Something that simple would go a long way. But universal can't come up with anything quick.

I don't think they should ever come up with something like that. It is a theme park after all. I don't go to theme parks to face reality of any kind and certainly not a memorial for the dead. Years ago, there was such a memorial near the garden pond across from Discovery Center for a landscape designer. Back then I thought it shouldn't be there at all and I was insulted by their nostalgic, albeit loving, hubris.

You can go to a park to escape reality all you want but if you're in HP and you know Alan Rickman has passed, you're not going to be not thinking about it. I think it something subtle would be a nice touch.

I get the impression that the Hulk was needing refurbishment and all the new extras are just a bonus. Unless they're making them duel again or adding something major like VR glasses or somethingI don't see the point.

There will probably be something during the opening "ceremonies" when all the celebrities come out to the effect of "just a few weeks ago we learned that Alan Rickman was taken from us by cancer. Alan was an amazing individual. here are some quotes. lets all have a moment of silence for this amazing actor".

The VR glasses seem a bit of a gimmick to me..it would be cool to experience flying around the Tri-Wizard cup...

Speaking of which, I wouldn't mind seeing more thematic elements around the ride path..

Went on FJ today, this ride needs the new projectors ASAP. The final dome I was in had black spots in it and the prior two domes looked a bit murky.
