Big Hero and Wall - E need a ride imo...or God forbid they expanded Indiana Jones

If they are going to do anything with Indy (which IS rumored due to the 5th film), I want a unique ride. Wall-E doesn't have enough mass appeal imo, I don't see it ever getting a ride (even though I love it).

Does anyone know if the LMA bleachers have been taken down yet? It feels like that's the last obstacle before things can really get rolling back there.

Keeping in mind, the concept art that was just revealed today was for Disneyland's rendition of SWL, not HWS.

fixed that. :)

I do want to note something, in particular. Is it just me that it's amazing of how different both universal and Disney handle concept arts?

Usually; Disney's concept arts really don't represent the official outcome, while Universals surprisingly handles it as close to the concepts as god forbid possible. I mean, for example; Toothsome. So-far, it really seems like they are going very close with what the concept arts being..while Disney and TSL. In the original concept of TSL, it had a lot going for it; and then during the Awaken Summer media event, they showed new concepts of it; significantly toned down..

I've noticed this as well. I remember all the way back to the original Hogsmeade concept art. There were only minor changes, but the end result was pretty much what they initially showed. I have a strong appreciation for Universal for doing this. Based on that track record, I'm very excited for Volcano Bay.

Disney on the other hand... They've put out some jaw-dropping concept art, but the only thing that I can think of that really resembled the concept was Cars Land.

My biggest problem is looking at the photos....more of the space is wasted being rockwork than actual usable space.

That's Disney's thing. If they would only put as much effort into their rides as they do the rock work.

Maybe they feel there is a portion of the theme park public that wants more rock work. Maybe :pixie:makes you like rocks. Personally, if I want rock work I go to Stone Mountain. I would rather see as much Star Wars as they can fit in the area.

Why not theme to a space port with false front buildings instead? Save money on concrete and rock artisans. I get that they want to theme buildings but there are easier and more effective ways. Make it a beautiful plaza with fountains and futuristic buildings as seen in the movies. One day, WDW is going to sink into the swamp from the weight of all the concrete.

Agreed. We complain if we see the show building and we complain if they hide the show building.

Epcot, Tomorrowland, MIB show that "futuristic buildings" don't stand up to time.

I don't really understand the concern with the rock work. They want it to feel otherworldly like you are on a distant planet with these natural rock formations that this Spaceport has developed around.
