Well, it is only 10-15 seconds as I recall. The attraction will be throwing everything but the kitchen sink at you. A bunch of stuff. Someone on here helped to fill me in on what I had seen but was baffled when I described it as a Foo Dog with horns. Can any of you guess what I was wondering about? ;)
So the Nintendo version of the FJ storyline?

Very cool but the capacity would be atrocious. Not to mention how fun would it be when kids can never win because adults like myself would constantly push them aside ;)

Not in this manner but I'm thinking more so about how items being used to slow people down etc. You hit the projection boxes etc, an item appears on your dash and through radio frequencies and through projection mapping, you shoot shells and items at other vehicles which affects yours. They managed to show how the girl and guy used items to attack each other during the race.

I was never a big Nintendo Gamer, aside from owning a Wii and a DSi when I was younger, but I'm really excited to hear more info for this.

Also may just have to get a Switch when it's released in March.

This is pretty much me. I think Nintendo is going to spark the inner child of a lot of people who now have kids who are of the right age to start going to Universal.

Nintendo lends itself so perfectly to theme parks, I think this could be one of the biggest IPs in Orlando when it's open.

With it seeming having the main focus being on Mario for this first expansion, I'm sure soon after this land opens, Universal/Nintendo will have to appease the fans of other Nintendo IPs or face people disappointed and angry other characters aren't present in the park because I already see people prepared to get disappointed as I see a lot of comments on YouTube and Reddit for Zelda and Kirby.

Zelda is a must for expansion. Either IoA or opening with the third park. Kirby surprises me. I'd think Pokémon would be more wanted.

I hope not. Then we're getting it last for sure.

I think this is the telling key. But even if its in 4th gate, I thought that was rumoured for 2020-2021ish

Each Universal theme park will announce details of its specific Nintendo areas. The first such announcement will come soon

USF isn't IOA which isn't the 4th gate they Each are their own park. Could be Potter like.

I don't see them waiting past 2021 to get this into Orlando. Could be 100% wrong, but they don't have much planned after F&F.

I mean I get they want more traffic into the other parks, but I'm not patient enough to wait past 3-4 years from now after making this announcement.
