They like to downplay their attraction additions for whatever reason. Things like Potter and Volcano Bay they hype up big time (for good reason), but the small time additions don't even get the cheapest of advertising. It's odd because a simple facebook post can create so much excitement.

Of course there's so many blogs and vloggers cover UOR that maybe they just feel like with all the free advertising, they don't need to pimp these additions that much (since it's being done for them).

I think putting it in two payed time slots at the Jimmy Fallon show is a great promotion. The show is shown in many countries around the world. I'm also positive the opening will include taping of the show in Orlando. I hate how Disney is overhyping their crap and not delivering on those high expectations.

I'll give Universal credit where it's due; that, is how you handle a 2D image well for a ride sign (unlike something in particular at USH that continues to annoy the hell out of me..).

Well, I maintain that UO should be posting this stuff. It's as if they haven't gotten a handle on social media yet.

We were the same group saying Disney needed to cool it with the SDMT updates and saying they hyped it up too much. I think Universal is doing fine.

I did see this yesterday, it is pretty cool, neat how they involved some of the players from the social media community. Shows that Uni are hip cool with the times.

Disney on the other cannot do cool, when they try it is truly cringeworthy. See example below,

One of the coolest catchiest songs Disney ever came up with and they totally screwed it up in that commercial. If a marketing rep actually tried to be uncool on purpose, he couldn't have done that bad. And since I'm Joe Cool :shades:, I can be a good judge of coolness.

That one is horrid to watch, there are a few others but the 7D one sprang to mind.

It's like they made this as a joke for how bad they could make a commercial and the people in charge liked it and the creators didn't have the heart to tell them. This is up there with watching your parents trying to rap.

I have a feeling those will be playing clips of various TV shows or clips from Fallon.
