Since they are going all in with Star Wars in DHS - figured this would be a general thread of the updates coming to the parks before SW Land opens.

New Rogue One & Star Wars Experiences Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios « Orlando United

Also - here's video of SSE becoming the Death Star

The new guided tour sounds super lame. Priority access on a ride that's never busy, a tour through a public museum, a meet and greet, and what sounds like a movie?!

Oh, there's a dessert party too. I guess that makes it all worth while...

to be truthful i thought the whole death star thing sucked. It was 30 min long they did one long advertisement for 25-27 min then showed the death star for 30 seconds and even then all you could see was the circle part.

How to shove a round peg into a square hole... an ocean away, by Disney.

Walt Disney Studios needs more traffic that Disneyland Parc, and WDS doesn't have a nighttime show, while Disneyland Parc already has one.

It had one of the most pathetic launches of all time, and it's still not anything incredible yet it's leaps and bounds better than the original line up of rides.

I can't find the original line up, but everything highlighted was added after opening in 2002. I don't know how many of these replaced something else, but I think you get the idea...

Looking at their attendance figures, you're not alone. The local French probably don't know that it's there either.

Considering this may be the most inconsequential big-2 theme park out there, I don't think it means much not knowing about it. It's honestly the biggest mess of a Disney theme park I've ever seen, including DHS and DCA with GotG.

I did the backlot tour there - it was dreadful. It made ours prior to closing look entertaining.

I think they were only running one tram and due to lack of interest didn't need another.

I sadly cannot tell if that's a joke because it was that pathetic and obviously disliked by the park patrons.

I've got a scan of the park map from 2002 here: Walt Disney Studios - 2002 | TPM-DB
The park was extremely light on attractions when it opened!

Not even a quarter day park. More like, do the park during your lunch break.
