Understandable. So outside of the Indominus you dont think much will be changed besides that as far as AAs go?

I honestly have no idea what else will be added. I just know when it comes to AAs in/around water, people shouldn't be expecting top of the line, Kong-like AAs. But hey, maybe they'll surprise me

Wasn't there a concept when Jurassic Park was being made of a inverted monorail like attraction, that would've been attacked by the Pteranodon's?

I am probably going to get crap, but hypothetically; what if they use a concept like that (if that was a concept), and have a form of Mack Inverted Power Coaster themed to the Inverted Monorails, as pteranodon's and other flying dinosaurs from the series come in and attack guests? If there is one thing I buy from his JW rumor; it's a low to the ground coaster.

Makes more sense than another Intamin Blitz, tbh.

Okay, let me try and explain my POV a bit more. Why would they get another coaster that’s extremely similar to two coasters they already have (they already have an Intamin Blitz and a launched looping coaster), and not go with a formula that worked well at a similar park? Not to mention you won’t have to file any trademarks, the coaster would look great on the ground, and works great from a PR standpoint.

So you think they should build Flying Dinosaur to save a multi-billion dollar corporation from having to file a trademark? Your undying thirst for this coaster to get cloned in Orlando is one of the most fascinating sagas on these boards.

Is it the trains? The dinosaur on the front is pretty cool, in a goofy way, and I like the colors on the rest. Other than that, I’m genuinely curious as to what you think it brings to the table that any of the other ideas floated around wouldn’t.

Also, they would 100% have to file trademarks. Trademarks are not an international thing. A trademark in Japan is not applicable to the United States.

As it stands, Flying Dinosaur is way, way too intense for UOR. People I know who have ridden it say it's pretty crazy, and the height requirement is 4 inches higher than anything else at the resort. It's just never going to happen.

Yea, plus, like Pteranodons aren't even dinosaurs! I mean, they're Pterosaurs, which were flying reptiles. I mean, c'mon! Amirite? Who's with me?

How about a launched Intamin Invert? Like Volcano the Blast Coaster? They’d be bringing an inverted coaster back to the park, and they could do quite a bit more with it if it was launched instead of having to worry about a tall lift hill....

Thrilling is different than intense. The Universal coasters, by and large, are not all that intense. Flying Dinosaur is more the latter than the former.

There are two thing that are throwing me off about this project, 1. 20-30% of it will be over water....so that will rule out a lot of ride ideas / theme (i.e. cars, raptor). 2. The launches.

Not sure why being over water precludes a raptor theme.

Unless something has changed from the movies...to my knowledge Raptors don't swim. I get what you're saying though, time will tell!

Sorry, I just want a great coaster cloned? I don’t see the problem here.

What about a B&M Wing coaster, like Thunderbird? https://rcdb.com/12260.htm

That could still be called "Flying Dinosaur."

I was talking to Andy on twitter about that. I think it would be cool, but the only issue I see is that the trains are so wide on a wingrider that idk if it’ll work in the space they have

It's more plausible than a launched flying coaster, as some have speculated. Thunderbird's layout is fairly close to the ground for most of the ride, and could provide for some fun interactions/fly-throughs. Also consider that it's the last B&M design left for the FL-GA region (there are only four in America, and the closest would be Dollywood's Wild Eagle).
