Well, I can remember when the rumors first surfaced that a coaster was in the works and then finding survey markings around the land. At first I had envisioned a completely different coaster. Now seeing it near completion, it's way better than anything I could've imagined. It will be exciting to ride for the first time. I do have some questions that should be answered by then, but I'm just gonna be patient and they'll be answered.

They will not be acting as trims. The real reason for the LSM stators are because of stall potential on the top hat. Instead of building an ugly platform / stairs...this is what we get should a stall happen. The train will be pushed over and no one needs to climb.

I've personally witnessed the train be boosted over from an almost rollback and it has been stated by engineers that they will "rarely ever be used."

Huh. I thought that maybe the fins were there to give the osprey something lean against while building its nest. How is the osprey? Still stubbornly tilting windmills? Has it given up? Maybe it is our fault for going on and on about it building a nest. It felt that through viral videos it would be allowed to nest atop its 150 ft tall elevated platform.

Bio had some pics of an osprey setting up shop in the perch at the high school across the street, but with osprey numbers on the increase it's possible it was a different one.

This might just be me, but does anyone notice that all the people in these recent behind-the-scenes stories seem to be comparatively young? I felt the same way with the recent Ratatouille and Jungle Cruise behind-the-scenes videos.

That's what I figured, which I don't think is a good thing.

EDIT: I also continually get the sense that no one from our generation knows how to articulate themselves. However, that might also be true for me should I find myself speaking in a professional capacity. Perhaps, I should be more generous. Or I'm just mistakenly correlating marketing word salad with an inability to communicate.

Meh. I think both UC and WDI get stagnate more often than not because the same voices are making all the decisions.

I mean, Thierry Coup, one of the mainstays at UC, was behind Supercharged.

Being old and experienced doesn't mean you're infallible

Isn't he the guy who allegedly pushes screen attractions over other rides?

Allegedly. But he was also the guy at the head of Forbidden Journey and the director and production designer of Spider-Man. So it's not like he doesn't have an amazing resume.

I know an Imagineer who has kept their job and they’re like 25/26, they know they’re one of the lucky ones, I don’t think this theory is far from truth sadly.

Happened in most industries last year. My chemical company CEO was bragging about how we didn't lay anyone off during the pandemic but we "restructured" in January 2020 and let go a lot of the older, more experienced engineers.

I also don't completely hold UC accountable for Supercharged's state lol

So glad we got rid of all the workers with power and experience in a society already rife with mistrust of institutions ;).

Any ideas on what's going on that new cement railing right in back of the heart-line rail? You would think it would say Jurassic Park but that's already on the discovery center behind it
