Also, again, it's a family ride where little kids can "win" the game by spotting the eggs and pressing the buttons. Trying to analyze the story decisions is going like 10 levels above what is necessary.

I don't know how anyone can watch a video and come away confused. Like, you are WAY overthinking this

Exactly, the AAs are cool and cute and it gives great views, and its literally meant for the children, not us.

The Baby Yoshi’s in the ride are the ones from the Wii U 2D Mario.

As for DK, maybe mini land is more appropriate? I expect “Super Nintendo World” to become a brand name that stretches across the different Universal Parks. Similar to how Wizarding World became “Wizarding World: Hogsmeade”, I predict this will become “SNW: Mushroom Kingdom”, “SNW: DK Island”, “SNW: Hyrule”.

Minilands are by definition part of a bigger land. I doubt DKC will be given its own designation.

Also, my man, the baby Yoshis first appeared in Super Mario World. That is a fact.

Donkey Kong is a part of Super Nintendo World. (Hence the land not being named Super Mario World.)

If they build Pokemon or Zelda lands later, then it would be split the way The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is between "Hogsmeade" and "Diagon Alley."

I think any theme park ride is that, we did like 10 courses throughout Mario Kart, Forbidden Journey is all of Harry's adventures in 1 ride, Spiderman is a bunch of villains coming together, most rides are "greatest hits" because you simply have so much to show off but only so much room to do so.
All courses in the Mario Kart ride are actually from Mario Kart (all in 8 to be exact). If Mario Kart instantly went into Yoshi’s Island, it would be jarring.

Creates an easily recognizable brand too, "oh another Nintendo World!" is all Universal needs people talking about, so many people up here just know them as the Wizarding World so those things definetlety stick.

Except..... thats a Mario kart course somewhere too lol. They all interact in relatively the same universe, I really don't get the argument here. Its not like Wario showed up on Yoshi

I’m well aware of my Mario history

The maroon blimp Baby Yoshi, the blue bubble Baby Yoshi, and the gold glowing Baby Yoshi all debuted in NSMBU. To emphasize the point further, the theme playing as you exit the pipe is the desert theme from the game.

Yoshi Island's as a series has never had a Mario Kart course though. And Toadette is pretty jarring in my book.

To be fair, I'm a super avid fan so I see Yoshi in Super Mario and Yoshi's Island as two separate things.

I don’t believe there is. There’s a Yoshi Circuit.

There’s also issues with Timelines and stuff. Baby Mario and Captain Toad on the same ride? Toadette?

If this ride was longer and had more Yoshi’s Island stuff, I wouldn’t be complaining.

The fact remains they've all been in games from Yoshi's start. They may have been given different powers in other games, but they've been there since day 1, making the "It's not a Yoshi ride, it's a Super Mario U ride!" nothing more than wanting to complain about something 99.99999% of guests will never think of. No one is going to go on this ride and think "Wait, why are there baby yoshi on this Yoshi ride? Preposterous!"

Mario is literally a main character in Yoshi's Island.

Pretty much. The ride is trying to have its cake and eat it too.

It’s a ride made for people who are 34” and taller, it’s frankly not trying for much lol. People have their opinions but of all arguments I’ve seen over SNW the integrity of the Yoshi ride is just not one I anticipated. People will complain about legit anything.

I don't know, even my 10 year old cousin (who is also a pretty avid fan mind you) was pretty confused. Regardless of who it's made for, I like cohesiveness. If they picked either Yoshi's Island or Super Mario Yoshi, I wouldn't be complaining in the slightest.

I just find it odd how they mashed these things together. Its not the end of the world but it's very odd.

I can't believe one of the tracks on the High in the Sky Seuss Trolley starts with a story about Sneetches and then has Hop on Pop, Green Eggs and Ham, and other stories that are thematically inconsistent with one another?

The land looks great. Universal has done it again.

Is there any particular reason as to why Yoshi has a height requirement? The only reason I can think of is because of it being elevated above the land but it goes so slow and has a fence I can’t imagine there ever being an accident.

I can't believe the TTA shows us a scene in Buzz Lightyear that takes place on a whole different planet! I sure hope someone got fired for that.

Height requirements are set by the ride vehicle manufacturer. Yoshi uses a lap bar, so I'd assume the height requirement is to ensure a child can't slip out of the lap bar.
