I expect soft opening for Pass Holders who can book a timeslot to come (down time possible of course). Then slowly park guests will have the possibility to book a timeslot of the same day (if the ride doesn't break down. Summer opening with televised ceremonie including actors from the movies and select guests.
Then the same protocol for Hagrids for everyone.

While this makes perfect sense from a safety and operations POV, it sounds a little too set in stone for a soft opening. However, I don't see any other option as you're going to have crowds of people hanging around JP waiting for a chance to ride.

I keep getting some interwebs ad that mentions 'that thing goes 70 MPH'. It's an ad for the three months free, I did not click on it, but from the part I saw while scrolling past gave no hint that it wasn't open yet, I get it is just the hype machine, but seems like they are turning it up a bit.

Man, this is some of the most exciting news that the area has seen in years. Oh, boy can't wait for what's gonna be there!

..Something that struck me, is in the center of track. Is there..some form of wiring being added onto the coaster track? If so, could it be..a potential from of light package, similar to Monster/Hangtime/Soaring with Dragon?

EDIT: I confused a part of the coaster track in-between the rails to be some form of wiring. Don't mind me, someone going overcomplicated on an image.

The seat wall stones receive a new base (the actual primer), two separate colourful washes, and then a final warm brown wash. Most scenic painting is worked in various layers. It’s how they were painted back when the park opened. Really fun stuff to see!

Also if you notice, the old rocks look a bit worn and reddish-brown, with a sort of gloss sheen. This is due to people constantly sitting and leaning their hands on them. The phenomenon is jokingly referred to as “people funk” as it, well... is a result of the various human secretions wearing down the clear coat on surfaces lol.

Excellent information I was totally unaware of!
