Does anyone have an idea how big the How to Train Your Dragon Theater in Beijing is compared to the Jurassic World Adventure ride in Beijing?

Like, could the rumors of the show being scrapped be more like it was being swapped for a HTTYD version of the JWA ride?

I hope not. The Dragons show is getting really good reviews over in Beijing. And the Potter e-ticket probably has similarities to JWA already.

Maybe? It could also be a Phase 2 expansion.

I hope not. The Dragons show is getting really good reviews over in Beijing. And the Potter e-ticket probably has similarities to JWA already.

Ideally it would be a new ride system but I'll happily take it so long as its as practical as JWA.

It doesn't hurt is I'm sure. And better, it's cheaper to copy than produce something completely new and I am fine with that, the show looks amazing.

If you want to read the whole thing, without needing a Twitter account, but yeah youre right, it can physically fit where Supercharged is now, as i said to Alicia....it makes no sense having it at USF, but neither does having a terrible ride like Supercharged either!

I still kinda wish they went to Jurassic Park in IOA, then Jurassic World in either USF or Epic Universe, and this ride is sorta proving that theory to me to a degree.

Gawd, it’s tempting to want this attraction to come to Orlando but I’d really really like for the Jurassic stuff to stay in Islands even more. Let Potter be the only exception, please.

Yeah I hear you. I think Kong really makes this a problem as that’s where you could theoretically get a 3rd Jurassic attraction.

Ken Storey's idea was to basically kill Ripsaw Falls for this and semi ignore Kong exists outside of the IP. but they would struggle to fit this ride into that space too

If putting cool rides into a park to stop it becoming a boring mess stuck in a timewarp like Epcot is, I am all for it

That Twitter thread showed that the ride + facade might not fit in Kong either but I would be okay with giving up the facade. If they were to replace RSF instead Kong would stick out like a sore thumb even more than it already does. I know this is pure fantasy but doze the sucker.

To be more realistic, if it were to replace RSF, carve out an entrance in that gap between Thunder Falls and the RA splashdown. Disguise the show building with cartoon strips from the back.

Yeah i guess its the fact that its also means losing a Dining option too , i cant speak for the quality of food at Terrace falls but still...and the facade is the queue and preshow too. Theres no easy option. I keep flip flopping about my feelings of JW going into Epic....and if im being honest....im not huge fan of the layout in Beijing, I guess I feel if youre going to build JW it should look like the street with the Innovation centre and volcano behind...they could do that over EU but cant help thinking there will be a better option some day for that huge amount of land

Beijing's ride is too similar to JP River Adventure for it to be in the same park. Keep the ride in Beijing.

If we like the concept of this ride, let's push for more of these kinds of rides to come UOR. Let's hope the four worlds at Epic Universe each have something great for the rest of the world to be jealous of.
