It’s lists the dates as Sep 2 to October 31st. Pretty obvious

That absolutely gives away that the trip is to HHN, but it doesn’t mean from this that Black Phone is there. It doesn’t say it’ll be there and could hypothetically just be Universal doing a sweepstakes with a Universal horror movie for their horror event that (hypothetically) won’t have the movie featured there. I know it will be, but this doesn’t say that.

It seems odd to promote a contest with a horror movie that isn't going to be part of the event in some capacity. Might as well do it for NOPE & other Universal "horror" films...

And the wording says "trip to Orlando, FL to visit a horror-themed amusement park between Sept 2-Oct 31st".

If this doesn't count as confirmation, then I'll wait for the Minions Rise of Gru contest to pop up with the same dates.

Why are we acting like them declining to mention HHN explicitly constitutes confirmation? Sure, the wording is weird, but it literally does not say Black Phone will be at the event (or ANY event). It is not confirmation, even if the promotion greatly suggests an announcement is forthcoming.

Those premier hotels really add up huh? We have all that for this year - minus gift cards, plus behind the Screams and Express, and it added up to maybe a little over half of that (for 2 of us)

If this isn't a direct film tie-in, you'd think they'd have it attached to other films in their Thrills and Chills category.

Also keep in mind that they're not discounting their prize value by using FFP or Stay More, Save More rates on the hotel. It's based off the full rack rate for the hotel and the full gate ticket price at the highest prices.

I agree, but all I think some people are saying is that in the sweepstakes it mentions nothing about The Black Phone coming to the event. Nothing was confirmed.

Now, let’s compare this AMC thing to a leak that actually confirmed something. Publix’s released a promotional sign early that stated Halloween was coming to the event. Publix clearly stated Halloween was playing a major role in the event. Meanwhile, AMC did not state The Black Phone is coming to any event.

Never got to walk thru The Exorcist house, but did y'all think it was good or great? Reason I ask is because (judging from the few clips I've seen) it seems like Black Phone will mostly take place in one room, with minimal characters (Mostly Ethan Hawke and the kid). I'm guessing if there is a Black Phone house, it might be executed similarly to The Exorcist. Would that work/provide enough scares, in your guys' opinion?

Well if it’s sharing with Freaky, then that will definitely help it. Happy Death Day had sort of a similar dilemma

Happy death day was one of the worst houses I’ve experienced. Movie was fine just didn’t lend itself to a good house.
