Does anyone know if they sold the scream early tickets last year or if they would sell them this year? Deciding not to go to the park during the day but I was still hoping to do stay n scream if it was possible.

Seen it, pretty sure there’s no talk, and IDK how well it could translate to a house.

It's strange to me that, based on all the maps, it seems like we might not get an IP zone this year?

Murdy says he's lost all sensation in his thumbs now on twitter. Although it's him being playful I really think if there is no promo today then we can maybe expect the last IP announced in mid-July as they change things around due to losing EDR. Thoughts?

This is for The Weeknd’s Tour, but this definitely feels “horror-adjacent” if anything.

I could see The Weeknd making the next house announcement during the tour this month; just not right now.

Adding to that, the whole stage for the tour is going full post-apocalyptic. Really hoping this is the direction the maze is following.

We basically know all but one house thanks to the insiders you're trashing and have nearly 250 pages of speculation in the thread you're claiming speculation isn't allowed in. That's why it's a bad take.

There's nothing wrong with a tiny little bit of mystery left in the 2 months before the event begins. The insiders essentially said don't count on an IP house for a number of reasons and everyone was still listing off a bunch of unrealistic IPs. There's nothing for the insiders to confirm when we're guessing stuff they already denied. That's why mods steer things back on track. Without a little guidance, we get stuff like the endless Rick & Morty (and similar properties) spec earlier this year lol.

No one has been trashed as my post was about Universal's delay in announcements and its full slate of ticket options. Because some posters can't stop themselves from jumping to a billion dollar multimedia company's defense is what, I believe however, has changed this from HHN speculation to Universal propaganda. It's quite obvious to me that the company is having issues with the event and this thread has become a place where there has been a lot of covering for them about it so it's unfair that posters are siccing mods on anyone who dare not agree with these delays since some of us are trying to decide whether to a book a vacation or not. I get it that a lot of the posters are local and probably employees so jerking everyone around is fun for them, because they're going either way, but I'm 1000 miles away and it's disrespectful for the company to not have officially announced much of anything by now. If they want it to revert to a local Halloween event again then that's their prerogative but it's also disrespectful on the part of the provincial locals, who know what's happening because they work there, to say anything to the rest of us as we legitimately need info to make an informed decision. Additionally, it's pretty hypocritical for the 'scare-actors' to be able to constantly complain about employee black-out dates but if anyone says anything about the company waiting until two weeks before it opens to give us some names or repeating ideas to cut corners those posters get attacked. If it's such a problem that they can't clog up the queues for free then they should go back to working at Sonic where they belong and the mods should disallow them from voicing any displeasure with company policies as well.

I don't think anyone here cares to defend a multi-billion dollar entertainment company, moreso that at least 20 different people every single year pull their hair out screaming about when other ticket options will appear, and it's extremely frustrating for both the forum staff and other users to constantly see it.

Is it sloppy that Universal continuously never releases all of its options at the same time? Debatably yes.

But screaming about it on a forum is going to do nothing and just gets everyone incredibly annoyed. Do some yoga, hit a punching bag, do something. If a yearly haunt event gets you this stressed maybe you should bite the bullet and stop attending, it seems like it would be beneficial for your mental health.

I know the last few years spoiled us, but they used to not announce anything until late July at least, and they still managed to attract many non-locals and people traveling from 1000+ miles away still then. Everybody managed then. If you’re a fan of the event from any past years then whatever the specific houses are shouldn’t matter anyway.

Good lord, they used to not announce anything about the event (beyond maybe a tagline) until late August. Either trust the event will be good and book... or don't.

Also... I think we've been pretty lenient with these diatribes so far... But I'm gonna need you to cut it out with language like "working at Sonic where they belong." If you're going to show utter contempt to the people who make the event what it is, you definitely shouldn't be here.

I'm just going to come out of my IU hibernation and say this: Please, be patient. Announcements will come when they come. Getting an announcement later than usual isn't the end of the world. Also, I don't get why'd you form a temper tantrum OVER A HALLOWEEN EVENT. Like touch some grass or something.

Sigh... this truly doesn't even deserve a dignified response.

Again, the insiders have already told you what's coming. They're not "jerking you around".

I've had plenty of qualms with Uni in recent years. Fast and Fallon are absolute trash. The "will they, won't they" with FFL is embarrassing (as is their abandoned theater issue in general). Hell, I miss the "good ol' days" where the HHN websites had games and clever little rollouts and where we'd get unique little media gifts. But like @Clive said, you know what else "the good ol' days" had? Super late announcements. There is no consistency. They owe you nothing. You owe them nothing.

If having the lineup handed to you months in advance by insiders isn't enough for you to book, that's totally fine. You don't owe Universal any money whatsoever. There are plenty of other incredible haunts throughout the country that you can visit such as Netherworld (which hasn't announced their lineup yet), Knotts Scary Farm (which hasn't announced their lineup yet), Howl-O-Scream (which hasn't announced their lineup yet), 13th Floor (which hasn't announced their lineup yet), and more.

I’ve kept my distance but this really is going too far now, it’s so incredibly rude and entitled I don’t even know where to start. Clearly from the tone of all of your posts it’s obvious how bored & in need of drama you are, but, tearing down everything on the forums ain’t it. If it’s such a problem for you to wait for announcements and discuss the topics that align with this forum, then maybe you should leave.

New account named after an internet troll meme makes 4 posts, all trying to stir things controversy over HHN. Things like this used to happen routinely on message boards when school got out for the Summer. I guess all the other kids are on TikTok now or something.

(Not a personal shot at you Tbad, yours was just the easiest to quote. I think everyone needs to click "Ignore" and move on.)
