I'll fully admit the gatekeeper in me prefers a horror movie to be rated R. That said the first Insidious is one of my all time fave horrors, so I suppose I'm somewhat of a hypocrite.
I def have a complicated relationship with FN@F. I stopped paying much attention to it after the fourth game and once it became clear he was making things up as he went, and the fandom around it has made it a bit of a joke--you *will* get eyerolls among horror die-hards if you say you like it, and the reasons why are easy to understand. But I stand by the belief that the first game (and even, to an extent, the second game) creates an
incredibly unpleasant, scary atmosphere. I like to pretend GameTheory's very first
video on it is canon because much of it feels like something David Lynch would do.
