Off topic but does anyone else think the end music at :25 of this commercial sounds just like the Port of Entry music? Am I crazy?

I've been predicting that either next year or 2025 will be the "send-off" year for the Monsters.

It won't be the end of the Monsters at HHN, of course. More so a "break" from the Monsters.

If Monsters Land is a hit and draws in crowds, it would be silly of Universal to NOT have monsters showing up at HHN for Synergy and cross promotion. Signs in the Monsters land with, "If you enjoyed this land, Universal Studios has a night time only event with extreme houses including Universal Monsters: 2026 House."

I believe the use of Universal Monsters in recent years has more to do with them wanting to use in-house properties more -and- the folks behind these events adoring them.

Not really building up to Epic Universe so much as selected for the same reasons at both HHN and Epic Universe.

There’s really no reason for Universal to stop using the monsters anytime soon especially if/when Dark Universe ends up being a hit:
- Merch
- Synergy (especially after EU opens)
- In house
- It’s a yearly property that’s very flexible and can be played around with so each house can be completely different than the one prior
- They’re huge crowd pleasers and very recognizable, both for die hards and casuals
- They’re basically the mascots for Halloween and have a great deal of respect from both fans and the company itself. There is no Universal and by extension HHN today if it wasn’t for them.

Absolutely, and it's not like Universal would ever have an obnoxiously large unthemed banner proclaiming that they have the world's best theme park restaurant as rated by a very select group of people more than a decade ago...

Welp, we've officially hit the wall with speculation and have reached the frantic waiting stage. I've done speculation for many years now on either coast and I can tell you exactly when it happens. No. Seriously. I can tell you exactly when the next announcement will be! It will happen when it happens. Now if you'll excuse me, I've got more productive things to do with my life.
