There has also been a shift in management in that time frame as well so each person's "vision" for the future has shaped the priorities.
I just keep thinking with all the things I've heard rumors about "another trackless dark ride/boat/whatever" instead of creating something new an unique. It...
If it's Studios it will be the third version of the same ride just themed as Zootopia.
Most likely if it does come to another Disney park it will have to have a 2029 or later opening because they have to keep it exclusive to Shanghai for a five year period like they did with Tron. Of course...
The building of a land IS simple and straightforward, it's the greenlighting of funding when there are so many projects in the works at once that is the holdup. When you are spending billions building the second park in ten years and have a third on the drawing boards it comes down to spreading...
So. I guess they are sliding gates instead of swinging gates? Hopefully this won't be a "motor to move the gates broke, so no parade today" situation...
HTTYD3 is the only one I haven't seen, and knowing that the land is set between the two movies I guess I should see it.
Funny how the land is HTTYD 2 1/2-- wasn't the old Shrek attraction Shrek 2 1/2?
This is why I plan on a September "first visit" aside from any kind of previews I might find a way to attend. My plan is a hotel stay/vacation for the full experience once things have settled down a bit and have become more reliable.
We'll see, but I don't see Dreamworks as "First Day of School". My read on "Childhood Memories" is creating them, not reliving them.

It's not even a case of people not being willing to spend the money as much as Disney haven't been able to sell as much as they want to because the system is overwhelmed with DAS. Eliminate the DAS abuse and they can sell hundreds or thousands more LLs a day that they cant now because the system...
From the generally positive local reaction and Universal's apparent enthusiasm to build, I'd be shocked if this doesn't get the green light from all involved, but stranger things have happened.
Seems like worst case scenario is Comcast sells the property for more than they paid simply because...
So much of the existing Wizarding World is family friendly experience even if the attractions skew more "thrill". I just got to experience it again with young nieces and nephew (all under 10), and they didn't seem to think anything was missing. I think the issue in the existing lands and all of...
It’s about reserving that capacity to sell instead of giving it away to DAS, but it’s also because people have specifically bragging that they didn’t have to buy LL because they claimed their kid needed DAS.
