Wow. They're going back to the previous schedule. Interesting move.....Good improvement move for marketing. The past few years
they weren't making an announcement until a couple months before the season started, or in one year's case, just a couple weeks before.
I was trying to decide what to do the week before, or the week after, the first week in November vacation I booked at Royal Pacific. I was
thinking of WDW for a week before or after. I got a great rate 6 months ago for RP before they jacked the rates up.

Universal made my decision easy. I'll do the second week in November at Universal and tack on another three days so I can catch
Macy's & Grinchmas at Universal. Universal gains. I'll bet other tourists will start booking now also. I could never understand why
Universal waited until the last minute to post in the past. Bottom line, congrats to whoever made the push for early notification dates.
That's just good business philosophy.

Just saw the tweet about them casting for this parade, what’s wild is it’s almost 10 years old. I think it’s time to replace, or add a unit

I dunno. Parade is just about perfect. It's actually better than the NYC original that's lost its Christmassy feeling. Adding a unit would be a plus though.

A Wicked Float would be cool with the emerald city as the main float....if you can have Elphaba flying around it that would be dope

I think some refreshes/additions would be good (although it very nearly runs into itself with its current length, so not sure they could add more than one, maybe 2 units without removing something), but it definitely doesn’t need to be replaced. Honestly, it’s my 2nd favorite parade behind Boo to You here in Florida.

Ah, not replace the parade, but rather swap out one of the IP's

No Universal Orlando Informer weekend for November 2026. Good, now hopefully Universal won't be closing the parks at 7:00 PM to accommodate their 'party', like they did last year. Also, better rates for hotels probably since they won't clog up the hotels with the super discounts they get....OI members are very upset.

Was randomly(drunkenly) checking the week I have off in November (15-21) and kinda booked a trip. $797 at Aventura although I will have to renew my pass still less than rack rate.

Looks like after their customer complaints, IU now has a Nov. date when the Holiday Season begins....so I switched to the last week in October, coupled with the first week in November at RP, to get away from the mess their meetups create for regular tourists, like cut park hours and crowded hotels.

This is someone what about the quarter 2 thread but, I think Universal needs to update its Holiday stuff more. I know some of the epic stuff is new but at the other parks it a copy of last year.
I think they should invest in at the very least a new Castle show for the Holidays

They had to drop Mannheim Steamroller due to the age of the conductor, I’d like to see them do a replacement for that.

New Epic stuff is a start, but it's also a start because they HAVE to.

I think a new float for the parade isn't a big ask.
