Just booked Cabana Bay for 12 nights in early March. The Stay More Save More rate was actually a little better than the AP discount rate,
so I went that route. First time that's happened for me in quite a few years. But Stay More rates aren't very good for the deluxe hotels at
this point in time.

UOAP float riding registration is this Thursday so the concert schedule should be announced before then. Hopefully today or tomorrow.

Meh.

I recall seeing Fallout Boy years back. I don't see a huge draw this year.

Don't know if it's a Millennial thing or a Bill & Ted fanbase thing, but AAR always pulls a big crowd at Universal. Being the closest thing to a local celeb with Shaq long gone, Joey Fatone pulls decently at EPCOT, imagine he'll do well here. Could see both of those going to capacity by parade time, along with Bebe Rexha, who will go to capacity before the parade most likely.

If country fans recognize Tyler Hubbard as the guy from Florida Georgia Line, they could show up in force as well. Never forget how busy Wild Horse used to get in PI, and those rare occasions I've been dragged to Cowboys, it fills acres of parking.

That said, three DJ sets seems like a lot.

Super happy seeing Barenaked Ladies back on the lineup, we've seen them like 4 times and they put on a great show especially at Universal! sadly I'll be on a cruise :(

Baby Rexha probably the next biggest one in the lineup for me.

I used to love AAR but after seeing them last year at Universal, I don't care to see them again. He didn't come off as very family friendly and was pretty gross.

Kaskade & Universal. Two of my favorite things. I'll definitely be there for that and also try to make it to RuPaul, Zedd, and Joey Fatone/AJ McLean.

Bebe already being adjacent to the Epcot Residency is so sad it's funny. She wants to be a real pop star so so bad and she's performing next to Minionland with the Barenaked Ladies. :skull:

I don't find your comment necessary or productive.

How many times does universal need the barenaked ladies to perform? (And I love the barenaked ladies)

None of these acts - IMO - are a good get. If you disagree, demonstrate in objective terms which band is a huge draw. (particularly when compared to Fall Out Boy)

Otherwise, what does YOUR comment say about YOU.

While I like All American rejects and barenaked ladies, none of these bands are enough to get me to come to universal & I was waiting for the lineup to make my decision to come to Mardi Gras this year.

Decision made. It's a pass this year.

Sure thing.

I find that the bands playing at various concert series (Eat, this, etc) tend to aim for a type of audience with their bookings. For Mardi Gras I find they aim for a wide variety of acts that hit the 21-35 age range PLUS some older acts to balance it out. Then throw in Universal pulls from actively touring artists and the festival circuit, so at some point, you have a limited number of choices. I believe that they've kept the same general idea of who they want to attract, but it's culture and music that's evolved and changed. And again, the artists can say no! I firmly believe that FOB was even on the table that year because Patrick Stump worked on the Hulk music.

Basically, just because it's not interesting to you doesn't mean it's not interesting on the same scale to others.

None of this is speaks to an objective measure.

For example, fallout boy was the 20th most listened to rock band in 2025 according to Spotify monthly listeners.

I'm moving on.
