Ok, so they put them next to towels because they look cool and modern or is that a new trend for guests... to install signs all over the walls?
I think this is just about the aesthetics.

In terms of closing the bar during lightning - there is absolutely no way Universal didn’t consider weather when building/designing.
The idea of shutting down a restaurant when a storm approaches is absurd. Having people leave their food / potential orders / drinks to take an elevator downstairs is not going to be the protocol for an afternoon thunderstorm.
What are those little chrome metal doohickies? Cuff links?

Universal Orlando is pumping out a hotel resort a year. Practice makes perfect.Sapphire was nowhere near this completion at this point. Looks like they are learning how to do it.
Just drove by it. The last floor still needs windows and much of the ground around it is dirt. Add in internal work and it doesn't seem likely to open early.Any chance of this opening its doors earlier than August 16th? It looks like it'll be finished in a month, which is so much more ideal than the up-to-the-minute Sapphire Falls opening, but seems like a good while to be sans guests. Don't remember how Cabana's first phase looked before opening.

If they could open the bar early maybe it would clear out some of the bloggers before my stay for HHN.It's not like a soft opening for a ride where anybody can just show up, people will have booked rooms months in advance. Having said that, they could open the hotel to the public with no rooms available to get the staff up and running plus the rooftop bar will be a huge hit and it will get the hype train going.
