Beetlejuice Revue to Get Updated

I took my Dad to see the new show today and didn't tell him anything about it besides the fact that it was new. His review, "It has so much potential but they have to do something with that Celopatra lady. She can't sing and yet she seems to have the most singing. Oh and it needs some more Beetlejuice."

So basically the same thing everyone else is saying. Also they have indeed added some more small gags. My favorite was when Dracula was singing the lines "Annie are you ok, are you ok Annie," Beetlejuice holds up a sign in the background that said "who's Annie?"

Sad news for fans of the previous show ... Don, the scooter-riding door host who always got the crowd pumped up before the show, passed away last weekend. Proud vet, all-around nice guy. If there's ever a Hall of Fame for Universal TMs, he should be one of the first inductees.

That is sad news regardless of the current incarnation of the show. Going to miss him!

That is so sad. We always looked for him when we went to show. My daughter one time said "now he is a guy that really loves his job." Going to miss him. RIP

I think he made an impression on every single guest he met. As once-a-year visitors we never find ourselves recognising TMs, but with him we always did. Although many TMs are great and provide memorable experiences he really stood out. Very sad news.

Sad news for fans of the previous show ... Don, the scooter-riding door host who always got the crowd pumped up before the show, passed away last weekend. Proud vet, all-around nice guy. If there's ever a Hall of Fame for Universal TMs, he should be one of the first inductees.

This is incredibly sad news, indeed. I recall seeing him at several Beetlejuice shows a few years ago and was hugely entertained (and impressed) by how enthusiastic and lively he was. A truly exemplary TM. He deserves special commendation for all of the great work he did.

Saw the show again today and there's been a few more more changes. The opening announcement is much shorter now and THEY'VE REPLACED CLEO WITH A NEW SINGER! She's now a new black lady who can actually SING and does a great job at the mummy rap segment!

My friend Stephen joined the cast as BJ yesterday and did a phenomenal job. Also got to see the African American Cleo, she's gorgeous & can actually sing! This show is slowly growing on me...
