Wouldn’t read too much into it, a CM friend and I went to Napa Rose with 50%. They’re just very generous with their discounts.

This is the first year Toothsome was on the holiday discounts, so I'm gauging by that.

Had a fantastic meal here a few nights ago, beer glazed scallops and pork chop were both excellent, will be going back again tomorrow, it was that good. This place will be a must on every trip now.

Has this sign always been on Bigfire? Never noticed it before.

NGL, I don’t like it. Doesn’t fit the theme of the restaurant at all. Looks like it’s from Cabana Bay.

It fits many elements of CityWalk, but certainly not BigFire. I don't like it either.

I honestly don't think much about BigFire actually fits the theme of BigFire. But the food is good, so :peace:

The new bar sign was probably a tip-off, but word from the groundlings is BigFire is doing very poorly. Conventional wisdom seems to blame it on the menu being "too fancy" for CityWalk (not my opinion, as my earlier reviews probably indicate, and odd given that this used to be Emerils, but that's the scuttlebutt). Expecting a menu change, if not the restaurant equivalent of a "soft reboot."

Fascinating, every time I’ve been it’s pretty packed. Is it the bar that’s underperforming or the whole restaurant?

Not saying that's not what you've heard, but I don't buy it. Place had a 45 minute wait Friday night while every other CW restaurant was basically a walk up

From what I was told, whole restaurant. The mention of the bar sign is me filling in the blanks, wasn't directly said to be related.

That is sad to hear, place always seems packed and I’ve eaten there twice, both times fantastic.

We ate there last Weds. during a slow day at the park. Food was really good and the place was packed at 8:00 PM, with a wait for a table. Mark @UK-Trigg had the Trout, Dave @Disneyhead a Sirloin and I had the Lamb.

I thought everything was quite good. I particularly enjoyed the Smoked Maple Old Fashioned.
