Disney seems to slowly be adding belts with every tube slide one by one during each year's closure. Would've been nice to get all of this out of the way when the water parks were closed for over a year.

Correct, nobody was ever hoofing it up the mountain with five person rafts.

I don’t recall what the progress is on the tube slides on the other side of the mountain (if/when they were working on those), but they should install them there too.

Its in the Kids area....Frozen is Disney biggest animated movie for this generation and fits the theme. I think its fine what they did but understand people who grew up with the park might miss the old theming

Even when it's pushing 90, there's a psychological barrier to water parks in "Winter." No need to open both until Spring Break. Both parks illustrate what closing for a 3-month reburb each year can do.

Typhoon reopening March 15--unusual they pick a Friday rather than a Sunday, but my guess is that kicks off the busiest week of Spring Break. I presume Blizzard closing day before but not confirmed.

There is no school in OCPS on Friday and that is why they are opening that day to get locals.

The free water park ticket on check-in started today -- and apparently it was a huge success. Admittedly the best water park day this week, but the crowds still showed up. Mouse was thinking of once again only opening Typhoon for Summer, and pushing 8 pm closes back to 7, but we'll see if this makes him reconsider.

Things have really deteriorated when we have reason to be happy that both WDW water parks will be open in the summer, when they were always both open in the summer until the Chapek cutting of guest benefits began a few years ago. It's a good move, but still a reminder that WDW guest appreciation isn't what it used to be.

Typhoon will open a third full bar this year, in the unfortunately named Ketchakiddee Creek area (i.e. the kids' area).

I keep hearing Gen Z drinks less than anyone else, but based on this move, the SSE and Pirates bars, and everything I've heard about Celestial Park, theme parks didn't get that memo.

Give it a few years. The oldest Zoomers haven't turned 30 yet -- these parks are trying to extract the last vestiges of Boomer, Gen X and Millennial money.
