Did you notice how many vehicles were on the track for MoM? and from the videos is seems like a dual load station with two loading points on each side. Do elevators go out 1 at a time or in pairs?

Oof. IDK. IOA has a better line-up because it's had 25 years to settle but... Epic is something special.

No, you don't see the other vehicles. I think they were loading between 2-4 to not overdo it that day.

Damn. Calling it the #1 park in all of Orlando is pretty bold, but I also don't necessarily disagree

I'm doing the VIP tour on June 10th, and assuming you had the VIP treatment as one of the groups invited:

How is the maneuvering around the parks? Do you go through all the portals or used some backstage shortcuts? Unchained did you see the preshows? Funnily enough I'll have been the only one in my group to have experienced the full park (except Ministry ofc), and I'm happy we're getting the tour and skipping lines, but I also don't want my friends and family to lose out on the magic of some of those queues and awe moments.

I wouldn’t compare the two. Much different situations.

Haven't experienced Epic, but I'd give the nod to IOA on attractions. But Epic might win overall because of the two shows and street entertainment which IOA has none. But that's a pure outsider view since I won't experience Epic until November.

Is the Andrew Lloyd Webber Phantom overture really part of the Unchained soundtrack or was that just TikTokers being cute and dubbing in the overture in their vids of his scene in the ride?

We discussed this in the Monsters Unchained thread, but --
It appears that the cue is a *very* intentionally similar but legally distinct (and thus permissible) series of notes. In other words, yes, it certainly sounds like the Phantom theme, even though it technically isn't if you go note-by-note.

Hi, Brian, thanks for hosting this AMA! Are the attraction locker sizes the same as the current parks? I only noticed the larger (paid) size in media videos but this could be that media folks need more storage.

You're welcome!

I actually didn't notice if there were different locker sizes. They may all be one size. If anyone else can chime in here, that would be great!

If they are all the same, free size, then yeah - they are plenty big. Fit my camera bag no problem.,

They're definitely quite bigger than the current park lockers. I'd say almost the same size as the paid ones actually.

This was a great idea for a thread. I can't recall if it was ever done this way before for new attractions. Anyway, it's very effective.

Thank you!

Yes, my mind was all jumbled so I figured this was a better way to address my visit. Haha

Would y'all like to see more of this in the future?

Yes....It works well. Keeps stuff organized. .....Not quite the same, but it reminds me a bit of the old HTF new info thread that was members only.

Absolutely! You've done a great job with this, and I think it's definitely helped keep discussion threads from becoming a big cluster of questions.

1) I heard MOM was "trackless" in a published review, but I thought it was like Spiderman with vehicles on a track? Can you tell you are in a certain path or does it feel more chaotic and trackless during the ride? Can you see a track at all? Can you see the ground or can you not tell how high off the floor you are?

2) Can you please describe the Erumpent chase scene more closely? I've heard it starts out as a screen and then it comes closer as an animatronic. How big/shocking does the animatronic seem? Does it get very close? Is it very brief or is it a major scene?

Thanks!

1. It's not trackless. It's the SCOOP vehicle, but with more dynamic movements. No, you have no idea where you're going. The focus is all on the action.

2.
That's about how it plays out. The action is all screen (blended with physical sets), but when it stops, you come across a calm Erumpent AA with Potter & friends.

The back isn’t the part of the body I’d be worried about. I’ve been on twice and twice my neck has come off sore. I have no history of neck issues.
