I think this will be better than Age of Ultron. I also think whatever they're filming will be part of the opening scene.

I was very surprised that we'd see it this early. I would of thought they'd wait till Star Wars to release it but that said.

Holy crap. As NBT said, it already looks a helluvalot better than AoU and it seems that its going to change a lot of the MCU so that's something to look forward to aswell.

Pretty disappointing trailer outside of the ending. There's no hook to it.

AoU is the second best Marvel movie to date, so that'd be great.

I'd have to disagree with you, IMO AoU is one of the worst MCU movies. Only above Iron Man 2 & 3

Those are some pretty big fighting words your saying there.

Is it odd that I think Hulk is more worse than Iron Man 2 and that I actually like Iron Man 3 for what it tried to do? It certainly isn't on my top five MCU films but its a good film.

Onto something else, the poster for the film also came out with Tony and Cap looking against each other with the tagline, "Divided We Fall" which gives me some real goosebumps for what we may see.

I don't why but I never think of the Hulk when it comes to MCU, but I agree that the Hulk was pretty bad

Gonna have to echo everyone else. AoU is definitely in the lower half of MCU movies for me.

AOU is a middle of the road MCU movie. It's the second worst Phase 2 movie only above TDW.

I'll knight up for AoU any day of the week. Outside of the novelty of the first Avengers it is by far a better film. Deeper thematic veins, better action, better character development, and a far, far better villain. To say it's in the bottom half of the MCU is ludicrous, as is insinuating Iron Man 3 is at the bottom. Hulk and the Thor movies are BAD films. Iron Man 2 is not good. And AoU is easily better than Ant-Man.

Winter Soldier > AoU > Avengers > GOTG > First Avenger > Iron Man > Iron Man 3 > Ant-Man > Iron Man 2 > Dark World > Thor > Hulk

Neither Avengers movies are really "deep".
Outside of the Hulkbuster fight the action was all done better in the first.
I'll give you character development.
Ultron's a good villain but no Loki.

"Deep", no. But there were far deeper themes in Ultron. Father/son relationships, the burden of the lives they lead, the nature of creation and freewill.

Can't agree about the action at all. The Sokovia sequence was way better visually than the NYC sequence in the first film. The opening scene was also better than anything in the first.

Ultron is way better than Loki. Loki is a pretty terrible villain. Good character, awful, awful villain.

Ah, the "a movie needs to be a cinematic masterpiece to be good" vs the "I like the movie, so it doesn't matter if its a best picture nominee" fight. lets see if this goes for 100 pages like it does on the box office forums. lol

Except that's not what I'm saying at all. I don't think any Marvel movie is a cinematic masterpiece, save for maybe Winter Soldier. The other good ones are just fine examples of Pop filmmaking. The bad ones are bad examples of Pop filmmaking. They don't really strive to be high art

I wanted to love Age of Ultron so, so badly, but it's a very pretty mess. It has some really inspired elements, but the demanding weight of its role in the Cinematic Universe crushed it.

Just because a film speaks of themes and scratches the surfaces of them doesn't mean it actually deals with them well. Tony and Ultron's "father/son" dynamic was vastly underdeveloped to the point where it had no bearing on the climax of the film. Ultron should have been an incredible villain, but we were left with three very different characters that had no logical follow-through. Character motivations throughout were all over the place. Many of the action set pieces were great, but some were abysmal - the entire Korea segment of the film is a confused slog.

I don't really blame much of this on Whedon, for the record. He was being asked to do way too much in way too short a runtime. Something was going to suffer, but really everything did.

That's a huge opinion right there. Many thought it was just about average for Marvel standards
