If this was Denny’s I wouldn’t say anything. But at the prices they’re charging, I expect to get what I’m paying for. I frequent boathouse a lot and they’re NY strip is $19 cheaper and way better than that $40 filet.

At a place like Kobe I can also order a much better filet for cheaper (and get more food as the portions were small).

If you are insinuating that I wasn’t polite about it then you are mistaken. My friend was serving us so I wasn’t going to chew them out. It’s not the servers fault.

I saw some Bar Helios reviews with high prices and small portion sizes, very small. I guess charge what you can get away with until the novelty wears off and people stop coming.

Hi all, I have a couple little guys that love splash pads. I haven't seen confirmation anywhere: is the Astronomica splash pad/fountain area open during previews.

I haven't seen it since this past Wednesday however it's been under continuous work throughout previews and ran only a handful of times in the past month, almost which none were publicly accessible (a barrier is in the way).

It wouldn't surprise me if it wasn't open yet this week either.

Does anyone know if they're still selling that EU mug at the Starbuck locations? I didn't have time to look for it yesterday

I saw quite a few POVs posted in Stardust Racers. Do they not have the required locker system and metal detectors? I thought that was the big thing they implemented on these bigger coasters (RRR, Hulk) to make sure that the incident that happened on Dueling Dragons didn’t happen again.

After watching a few it looks like they appear to be camera glasses and/or body cameras. I'm going to assume that if they're strapped and secured then it's less of an issue than if it was a phone being held in hand.

Blue dragon restaurant reservations are open here, for dates after official opening. Was able to book one. Tried to book 2 for consecutive dates but when I reloaded after booking my first all dates show not available so not sure what's going on with that.

I wouldn't be surprised to see them open just before the peak holiday season. During previews Oak & Star and Pizza Moon would get packed, and that was with limited attendance. Granted Blue Dragon and Meteor were both closed and the little hot dog and bao stands weren't open, but it seems like the additional dining space may be needed sooner rather than later.

From the video I’ve seen, it doesn’t seem like they’ve quite figured out the entertainment in this area? Alicia’s recent video showed some of it:

IMG_4625.jpeg

I’ve seen other videos and photos with people on the stage, and in the walkways… it all feels very temporary? Street clothes type look, very busker at a park energy with music stands, speakers setup in the walkways..

Doesn’t feel… celestial?

All the planned Celestial entertainment was “cut”. Everything you see now was Universal putting a bandaid on the situation while they go back to square one.

I'm sure that performer gives it his all... but yikes.

I think nothing (temporarily) would be better than something so comically low-rent while Universal reworks the actual entertainment (assuming they are).
