I'm sure they do, but I wonder if Universal couldn't sell more of their own bags if Fossil wasn't there. They sell a lot of bags. Just like the surf shop sells a lot of sandals. Things people don’t realize they need until they get to the parks.

It’s the slightly upscale option. You can get a backpack or hip pouch at the Universal shop, but Fossil offers nicer fare.I'm sure they do, but I wonder if Universal couldn't sell more of their own bags if Fossil wasn't there.
That's a little out of the way coming from the water taxis. :dance:You guys are missing out on going through the surf shop - air conditioned shortcut to USF from parking garages.
(Hard Rock employees used to use this until they got told not to.)
Someone on the August 1st thread made a blue sky wish about having a Pokémon center put in CityWalk...Fossil, anybody?
As long as that's just a hint of what's to come, I'm all for it.Someone on the August 1st thread made a blue sky wish about having a Pokémon center put in CityWalk...Fossil, anybody?
While true, I don't think we're implying that Universal can do whatever they want with Pokemon because they got a partnership with Nintendo. Heck, Universal can't even do whatever it wants with anything Nintendo without negotiation and approval.Unlikely. Nintendo Store? Probably. Pokémon is it’s own company that is partially owned by Nintendo.

But, there were strong rumors that Pokemon was coming to KidZone... If true, that likely means those negotiations already have taken place, but plans were just placed on hold for now. At least it opens the door to a possible store.
While I think a Nintendo store would also work for that location...Pokémon is more complicated. They already have the channels set up for working with Nintendo so just open the Nintendo world store there. Pokémon centers seem to be Asia specific right now and would require UC to foster new relationships and that just takes time.
Been there as well, and would love something of that size at CW. That wouldn't fit at the above proposed Fossil location.Iv'e been to the NYC Nintendo store. Something of that size would fit fine at citywalk.
Would fit better in the surf shop, which is very long, and people often confuse with the Fossil shop around here.Been there as well, and would love something of that size at CW. That wouldn't fit at the above proposed Fossil location.

I don't think we'll be seeing another entertainment district (outside of the new park) until phase 2, years after the park opens.Back to topic though, I wonder if we'd be more likely to see a Nintendo store at Citywalk 2.0 when the new park opens.
Good point. And a Nintendo store could act somewhat as a preview center, with a model of SNW inside too.I don't think we'll be seeing another entertainment district (outside of the new park) until phase 2, years after the park opens.
My money's still on the AP Lounge in a year or more. The Fossil Store would actually be a good spot though, no joke lol.Curious if they’ll put a preview center somewhere.
CityWalk would be the best place.
