They are indeed live there right now for the pregame show.

The seasonal folk hero that is Earl the Squirrel has gotten some exposure in the background of several shots.

I’m watching this pre-game because I wanted to watch the Chiefs lose anyways, but it feels like NBCUniversal doesn’t know how to advertise to people that aren’t already Universal parks fans.

Universal Orlando has temporarily closed Antojitos at CityWalk Orlando for refurbishment.

Explain this to me like I'm five.

I get that coasters, track rides, spinners, all the rides, need to be refurbished on a regular basis.

But a restaurant?

I've never seen a local restaurant close for a refurb.

Maybe if there was a margarita volcano, animatronic dinos, even an animatronic Hog Head at a bar!

But why does a regular restaurant need a rerfurb? They cleaning the creepy baby doll heads?

it's like when you have a perfectly fine burger king in your area and for some reason they completely revamp it. there was nothing wrong with the original, but they just completely change everything.

This is odd- I’ve seen major restaurant renovations while staying open. New kitchen floors, etc. might be plumbing related?

They need to do something with the upstairs area, when the place opened it was basically it’s own restaurant with a more upscale menu

They could turn it into a cool cocktail lounge or speakeasy bar.

Kitchen upgrades require closure, hvac work, or just the fact that theme park restaurants see tremendous foot traffic and it needs a good head to toe cleaning. Who knows. But the world class parks do usually keep things looking fresher than your local Burger King.

We've walked up there but never ordered any food. Too much like a mall food court offerings.

Looks like a University food hall.

Bread Box's recently refreshed menu has allowed me to go back there now, but I wish for a decent quick burger spot at CityWalk.

Whopper Bar is pretty fine by BK standards in my experience. So if you don't already like BK, it's not gonna convince you haha.
