As the title says. Japan has a more dance-like atmosphere to it with flash mobs everywhere, and they have more interactive experiences like the themed rides, short films, and laser tag. Singapore is more like the US, but they still have Icons front and center, plus their mazes have more interactivity compared to Hollywood and Orlando. Hollywood and Orlando’s mazes mostly follow some sort of formula, albeit with different settings, and rarely do they offer interactive experiences save some examples like the Repository in 2016. And the Icons are entirely dropped from marketing (though not in-event for Orlando). So thoughts chaps?

Singapore’s houses don’t actually have a lot of interactivity. They’re very much like early HHN houses. Japan is the one that does “interactive.”

That said… the US parks could… but they don’t need to.

Hollywood already kind of is with Hamikuma and the advent of DreamWorks Theater being very easy to work with. I don’t think interactive houses will be something as carried over—Hollywood has made abandonment of password houses for a reason, but I imagine HamiKuma and DWT will continue to get Osaka imports for the future.

Back in the day USH has Password houses that depended on the night if you prompt with an actor with the correct phrase, you’d get something cool. Sometimes it was in universe business cards based on characters of a film, or specialty things like stickers of creatures

OH, yeah I think I heard about something about that in one of the years, 2013 I think , with the From Dusk Till Dawn house where there was a secret phone call with one of the characters.

I feel like HHN Hollywood is already adopting more towards the Asian HHN events. For Pete's sake, HHNH's second show is based on an anime and there's a Hamikuma meet and greet. I don't think either Hollywood or Orlando will go full-blown HHN Japan with the dance clubs and all that, but I could see Hollywood still borrow a little from the Asian culture. That clientele is a little more accepting of anime so I could see Hollywood lean a little in that direction.

I still have the Elite Hunting card I got from Hostel all those years ago! Good times.
