I'm of two minds about the Walt show.

On one hand, I think directly recreating him (and presumably generating new dialogue for him) seems inappropriate.

On the other hand, the actual concept of the show sounds like something I'd really enjoy, and the fact that it's not replacing Great Moments... is great.
 
I’m not understanding what the objection to this is. What am I missing?

It just--feels wrong. It doesn't feel like something that's gonna turn out well IMO and I can't really describe it further than that.

I wish I had a better justification; but it feels distinctly icky in a way that doesn't sit well with my stomach.

If the Walt show gets more people interested in the attraction then I can live with it even if Walt didn’t seem like he wanted something like this
 
On a side note, here is how me and other theme park fans feel about sitting through music numbers that are only there to pad out this panel:

Different from any other Indiana Jones experience… minus the fact that the ride path is identical to all of the other Indiana Jones rides.
