Just watched the first two episodes. Really good story so far, though the cold open and CGI were a bit cringe.

Overall, I really liked it though. Easily beats out the other Marvel shows as of late.

Two different shows when Kingpin is off-screen and when he is on-screen. The latter is hugely compelling, the former would be better with maybe a 20% improvement in writing, acting and CGI.

I'm not really liking some of the kingpin stuff lol. kind of annoying.

I think some of it is how fast the pace is. I don’t think the writing is bad, but things feel rushed because of how methodical the earlier seasons were.

Agreed on 5 and 6. Episode 5 probably the best of the Disney series so far, comic booky in the best way possible. Didn't even mind the cross-over character, as (1) Marvel did things like that all the time in the comics and (2) it helps make the character sympathetic and relatable even given his limited screen time.

Also, not a real spoiler but a fun Easter egg:
Really enjoyed Charlie Cox getting to use his real accent, even just for 15 seconds.

Ending of episode 6 was incredible, as well.

I've mentioned above liking some of the middle episodes, but the finale was appropriate for Disney+ -- a bloated mess that resolved nothing, only setting up season 2 with plot holes you could drive a truck through, ultimately devaluing the season as a whole.

This season 2 plotline they've set up cries out for that. Glaring and obvious omission.

My Two cents, I liked the first and last episode

I know people might think the ending is a mess...but to me it feels real now. When no one opposes you you can do what Fist is going, we can all try to say someone would stop him in the government but depends on who is President. If this took place after Ross or even during Cap 4 then makes sense that other things are in the way

Also I could be wrong but I think season two will happen over a matter of days or a week or two at max. To make it more believable because we should see that someones things happen and the government wont step in because of the politics at play

I mean, I'm frustrated with the Avengers and super heroes in the MCU and they aren't real.....like where is the unity? The new Cap and other hero's refused to do anything the past few years over many events, I think the public might be on the side of fist outside of New York because its the "what have you done for me lately" Mind set along with the hero's kinda letting these things happen they are just refusing to help until a monster like Muse is killing someone or another threat as Tony said "But that's what we do, right? Our best work after the fact? What are— the A-vengers? We're the A-vengers, not the Pre-vengers, right"

Just my two cents I liked the finale more then most the middle episodes, I think its a good season but....for me it might be the weakest. It has great moments and good "guest" side characters but I dont care about most of the other side characters yet like I did for the nightnurse, foggy, karen...etc

I think its got some interesting idea's and am excited to see where it goes from here

Little Women Dancing GIF by TV One

"“It’s so great to be back, returning to Jessica after three seasons and ‘The Defenders’ and now joining the MCU,” Ritter said. “I’m so excited to bring back this iconic character, and without giving too much away, there is much more in store for Jessica Jones. This is going to be an incredible season!”
