A friend of mine has been at Universal almost everyday for the last week and is hearing that the video isn't finalized yet.

So, I never rode this thing as I figured it was for kids only. I looked up pictures and it appears that it is an audience style set up with units of motion control vehicles holding 6-8 persons each? Basically a simpler version of BTTF?

exactly. you arent separated like you are in BTTF, you see all the other ride vehicles around you. smaller screen, single level, etc.

i dont believe that. the video is most likely done. if anything isn't finished yet its timing the effects/motion exactly.

Actually its not too far off.

It makes perfect sense that the film would not be 100 percent yet. For example. They could have been given a very fluent copy with only a few glitches awhile back and have been able to get the motion base right from that. Meanwhile, in the Illumination studios they are polishing a lot of it to perfect it. It is a very productive way to get the bulk of the work done.
