But one piece of good news is that Universal will allow AP holders a private tour of the sand and backhoes in Amity for $75. The tour is limited (to only 10000 AP guests) and will be first come first serve.

Minion recruits, assemble! It’s the news you’ve all been waiting for: Despicable Me Minion Mayhem will officially open on July 2!

The attraction is currently in technical rehearsal, meaning guests will get to experience what is a work in progress as we put the finishing touches in place on the ride. Operating times will not be announced - so if you’re in Universal Studios you could catch a sneak peek of the outrageousness that Gru and the minions have in store for you prior to July 2.

Well when I was there it was having MAJOR issues so there might be a number of bugs to work out before opening as well.

The Fart gun is used in this attraction as well but I won't say where.

Got to finally ride today after roughly a 60min wait, so not too bad. The detail for what they had to work with here is absolutely outstanding, and any crowding problems with the old pre-show room have been completely resolved. The ride itself is absolutely adorable and can get quite emotional as well. Complete sensory overload for the 3.5mins it lasted. The dance party at the exit was pretty cool too! Overall, hats off to Universal for another great attraction.

I've so far been able to jump on 5 times in the past 2 days. I'll be giving my (very long) two cents tomorrow evening, when I can get my hands on my laptop. But in the meantime, I can safely say that I love this attraction with all of my heart.

I'm going next year. I hope this is great ride and it's also great to hear that it's a good attraction. I need to buy a Gru Scarf, A lab coat, A Build-a-Minion and a Minion soft toy.
