And of course, the main reason for PI's existence had faded away (Church Street Station) so Disney no longer had the incentive to work on keeping the nightlife people on property. It will be interesting to see how this plays out. The mall has always seemed to have a problem with identity as well as being successful (lots of people, little buying). Over its life its had so many name changes its hard to remember them all (Lake Beuna Vista Shopping Village, Buena Vista Village, Walt Disney World Village, etc)

My biggest worry was that Disney Springs would turn into a Vegas mall. Those range from tacky to tacky with light theming. Seriously, my mall is classier and has better retail than many Vegas malls.

That worry turned out to be false. They've done a good job keeping exclusive experiences and I appreciate that. The retail is really hit or miss, but hopefully that will change over time?

I keep hearing people say how nice it looks and how beautiful it is. Not that I really disagree it looks fine, but why did I never hear people gushing so much about the premium outlet mall or the Florida Mall's new food court.

I do like that mall. I bought my first iMac there! That was back when that was the closest Apple Store to Orlando.

Yep, I've eaten there many times. I like Earl of Sandwich but the one at DTD is always busy so I try to avoid that one.

Someone posted something on Twitter that I think has to do with Orlando United. Higher ups in Disney Springs talking about about how "a certain site" can stick to Harry Potter talk. Hmmm...

Don't think it was mall managers. I remember reading on here that Disney media doesn't invite Orlando United to press events. So now seeing this on Twitter was kind of surprising.
