Looks great! It even seems to have achieved the impossible standard of making WDWMagic Disneyland posters happy. No small feat.

Hate the look of the shop (agree it looks like a portable shed or something), but the courtyard looks very nice.

Court yard looking amazing....now can we open the train station? Feels like its been down for like two years.

I'll wait to comment on the gift shop when it opens the concert art had a few more theming elements on it...so don't think its done yet

I believe I saw via Twitter that the train station has reopened. Hopefully they finally repaired the structure that had been damaged by that fire so they can run more than two trains again.

The courtyard looks fantastic! Love the thematic details, varied materials, and overall vibe. Bravo.

Can't wait to visit in person, listen to some jazz, and have a beignet. (By "have a beignet" I mean an entire bag of beignets of course.)

The Critter Club shop looks fun. Interesting that the merch with "Tiana's Foods" on it @11:27 doesn't use the logo featured extensively in the attraction queue, water-tower, etc. I sometimes get a feeling the merch people are not always buying-in or under the mandate to support Imagineering's vision. I wonder if there's tension around that and, if so, it seems counterproductive and something leadership could address.

Man... they went ALL OUT for this. Why didn't Magic Kingdom do the same? :(

Because WDW never gets glitzy openings for anything anymore.

Even in the rare instances where Disney does decide to fly in a celebrity or two, there's no pageantry to it.

Plus DL's was meant to be the definitive version of the ride as well.

That goes without saying.

Disneyland also got the better Runaway Railway (to compare another ride that both coasts recently got).

I sure hope it's not done, but why take down the walls then in the age of social media?

"Design a Haunted Mansion gift shop" is about the juiciest environmental design project a creative could want in their career. It's a layup.

At this point, I say call in Joe Rohde and give him $50k and see what he can do.

Honestly it doesn't bother me, I just thought the tweet was funny lol. Like to me the shop looks fine. It's not amazing or anything but I don't expect it to look that way, it's just a shop

I mean this will stop them in the future

But my god people need to chill until it’s open to someone I don’t think there is reason the new HM Q and New Orleans square look as good as the concept art
So I assume this will to
