So I don't know if he left out Muppets on accident or if it's staying.

I believe that not only is Muppets staying, but the attraction and area should be getting upgrades.

The rumor is Bob Iger is at The Grand Flo and the BoD will be arriving Wed. for some high level budget approval meetings. This bodes well for WDW and DHS in particular, because the BoD doesn't show up at WDW during the peak Summer season unless big bucks are involved.

You might have the same root source as us on this. I don't know if DHS is getting approvals during this visit though.

According to WDWNT, The Magic of Disney Animation will be closing soon.

And apparently, rumor is One Man's Dream is getting axe too.

I really hope that if OMD goes it gets moved somewhere. It'd be ashamed to lose that.

I'd hate to lose MoDA as well. I've heard there's a chance the animation academy may be brought back in an expanded form to meet up with demand, however the rest of the space would be closed. Really hoping that Disney finally give an announcement of what the hell is going on with this park at D23 in a month and a half or so.

Just looked it up on google maps, I guessed I'm just confused by their placements. They are a bit landlocked between Toy Story Mania and Little Mermaid. Are we to assume they are also gutting the buildings they are connected to?

And I know this is WDW, but what are the chances they finally remove Little Mermaid? She has enough of a presence in MK.

I say kick Tinker Bell out of Town Square on Main Street at MK. Put it there. It would fit best in MK.
If not MK, maybe it can take up the former Innoventions space in Epcot.

I don't want to see this attraction just tossed. It's too important to the Disney story.

I'd say she may be on borrowed time at DHS as well. I know they seem to be closing everything there, but I doubt they would go that far and close the show while the park is in flux.

They seem to be content to ride the Frozen train for the foreseeable future. It is hard to believe that they can, but it is what it is.

I think everything from Disney Jr. to Muppetvision (those 2 staying) is history except TSMM. After that is mostly done, 50's Prime Time (staying) to Muppetvision starts it's Star Wars transformation.

Now, how they go about it and keep the park open is the million $$$ question.

This is the most awkward park "when it comes to lay out" I ever seen in a park, but it's the only hope (if they rather not open a 5th gate) WDW has to be able to re-design and re-theme, as it target the teen age and young adult arena with more thrilling rides. This park just needs to open the backlot to the public and build thrill rides and attractions. It's just a waste of space now plus it would expand the park by almost 50%. Also guest will finally have the chance after all these years to take a pic in front of the iconic water tower. If WDW truly wants to compete with UOR, they would take advantage of this park, but we all know they won't, so I predict more shops and more meet and greets. So why wish? when we all know we'll be disapointed.
