It is still strange to me that they don't have ET open - especially with HRRR gone now. And with no house portals back in that area now.. no brainer!

I have to imagine they've done some math regarding the logistics of keeping E.T. TM's around for HHN hours and decided it's more trouble than it's worth. Still, it'd be a frequent stop for myself if they actually made it happen.

It just ... feels right, yknow? I feel like it's gotta happen someday.

Pretty much what GA-MBIT said, also the core audience that would ride HRRR is probably not going to be riding E.T., it makes more sense for them to have Transformers open instead, which is exactly what they did.

Right now, the best thing is to ride E.T. before Stay and Scream, which is very easy to do and that indoor queue provides a wonderful relief from the sun.

I've often told tales of Tony Day, where about 45 people all met up together and stormed E.T. with the goal of making the little guy say "Tony" a lot of times in a row. Tony Day was great.

Just got off ET and the lighting for the back half is drastically different. It’s much darker overall with more emphasis on overhead lights. Moving heads and gobos and swirling colors!

EDIT: Watching recent POVs, I’m not sure how new much of this is, but it seems like a change to the light levels and several new/enhanced fixtures.

Sad news (and maybe known), but brought my kids down for their first visit ever and my first visit in ~6 years. After 3 rides over 3 days with no Botanicus I asked the ride
op - he said Botanicus has been down for at least 4, maybe 6, months. Really poor showing if true, is he down for good?

Also @Alicia i have been waiting a few years to finally wear this shirt

Yea, he's been missing from the queue since at least through the summer.

But even WORSE, the bunny rabbit has also been missing too!

I have been told they will return, but who knows when.
