With how much Unchained's effects and animatronics like to pivot between working fine one day then breaking down for days or even weeks at a time, I figured it might be nice to have a status watch for this, especially since I have a gut feeling that much like Ministry, even now not all effects are properly installed/working and/or being added to plus the experience.

Will be using in-person accounts, with recently uploaded POVs as backup in case of there being no accounts for a minute.

As of 11/3/25:
-Flying Bride not working
-Finale Drac in B-mode

Possibly missing?:
-Burning smell for finale Dracula being shot
-Fog effects during Dracula's escape
-Overall lighting issues

I think this thread is a good idea but I suggest prioritizing in-person accounts over video uploads.

That's the plan, not to worry. Video uploads will be more of a backup option if there aren't any in-person accounts for a minute.

I was on the attraction a couple of hours ago. The bride being attacked with the crossbow was the only thing not working, along with finale Drac being in B-Mode.

Due to how often rides have been delayed or just out right closed I thought this Forum would be helpful to those who want to know when rides breakdown.
P.S if you know the reason behind the Breakdown/delay please add it as I and many others would like to know

From what I understand, most of Super Nintendo World's land effects break down consistently and require a lot of maintenence. There is only so much manpower they can give the land, so instead of fixing everything at once they essentially only have half of the land effects going at one time, and work on the others until the operational ones go down again.

The main Key Challenge Thwomp effect has only run for maybe a month's worth of time since previews. It's supposed to have mist effects to emulate the dust particles from the game, but those almost never work, even when the big guy actually is dropping. I've been lucky enough to see the full effect and it's very cool, a shame it's apparently such an issue.

Spiny apparently went down for over a month, but he's back now. He might have some of the most moving joints of all the SNW characters, weirdly enough. He looks great honestly haha.

There's a hard to spot Koopa Troopa above the Jr Showdown building. He's meant to be walking back-and-forth behind the fortress walls, but I've never seen him work once. From what I understand, he may move if Nintendo is in the park, but sometimes even that isn't enough. They can barely keep the Koopa above the Key Challenge working, so  . Seeing Showdown Koopa operational is definitely a longterm wish for myself.

Even though I criticize the downtime that is so significant even though we're 9 months after softs, I do give some leeway because Epic,
unlike Beijing, is a new park that is mostly new completely original attractions, and just a few clones. It's understandable that breakdowns
will happen on new stuff more so than cloned attractions. The downtime wouldn't be so bad 'if' the park had adequate capacity, but alas,
it does not.
Unfortunately, the clones are breaking down way too often too. Mario Kart, DK Mine, and all those Nintendo games/effects are having
continual issues. And even the very simple Yoshii. That is troublesome and of concern. This is really not acceptable and actually inexcusable.
